This legend speaks of the virtues of the water that since 1895 has given its name to one of the most important drinks in all of Mexico: Topo Chico Mineral Water. There was a beautiful Aztec princess who suffered a terrible disease. A disease so strange that no doctors of her father, Moctezuma I Ilhuicamina, successor in 1440 of the King Itzcoatl, had been able to cure. Desperate, the King turned to the older priests in the kingdom to find a cure for his beautiful daughter. They told him that according to the timeless stories of travelers, in a far away northern land, there were strange and hidden waters which flowed at high temperatures. Waters in which one only needed to bathe in or drink from to regain vigor, joy, strength, and refreshment. Encouraged by this news, Moctezuma I ordered an immediate expedition to take his daughter to this amazing place. After traveling long and rugged roads, the Princess and her expedition reached a fertile valley flanked by mountains. To the east, they saw a mountain with the form of woman’s face (now Cerro de la Silla) and a mole-shaped hill, from whose slopes flowed the prodigal waters. After spending some time there, taking baths and drinking from the water, the daughter of Moctezuma I, his priests, and chiefs returned to the Anahuac lands optimistic, strong, happy, and refreshed. The news about the Princess's recovery spread throughout the kingdom and has passed from generation to generation up until modern times. Anyone who has tasted a cold Topo Chico sparkling mineral water on a warm day can believe the story of such spectacular refreshment.

Refreshing taste
It has the perfect level of carbonation without too overpowering flavor. I love that is has simple ingredients and I know exactly what I’m drinking. Drinking it from a glass bottle also adds to the experience.

Perfect amount of flavor and always the maximum amount of bubbles. My favorite to pair with steak street tacos. Also you have to love the glass bottle, kinda takes you back.

Best that I have ever tried
I hate when I buy something that markets its product that is one thing or the other. This TopoChico drinks are beyond different. Not only do you get a hint of the flavor you get but also the taste is good and it is actual sparkling water. Taste thousand times better when it’s cold. Still enjoy it at room temperature but better when cold.

Great bubble water
First I love a great carbonated water.  I like to mix it up and try different things and this is the first time I’ve had the grapefruit. It’s not a strong grapefruit flavor but it’s great!!!!  it is much better chilled, but this is just such a great water! The carbonation is on point!  I love the glass bottles! And actually if you only finish half of it and it stays overnight, it’s even good in the morning. Definitely not as bubbly, but still really good.

Grapefruit flavor is good. Doesn’t taste too artificial which I appreciate. An ice cold Topo Chico is unbeatable if you’re looking to cool off after a hot day. Highly recommend! I love that Topo Chico is available in glass bottles.

I think this rivals
I think this rivals my love for Topo Chico Lime. I'm a repeat customer of the lime, and I was skeptical of grapefruit as it is not my favorite citrus, but this is a seriously tasty beverage. I love that it is no frills and just tastes amazing on a warm day. I'd absolutely recommend this to others.
