Q: does this fix all toilets?
A: Our toilet seat is US standard toilet seat. If your toilet is US standard, it will fit. Some toilets may not work. Our slow close hinge toilet seat can be tighten up from the bottom or top, but regular hinge only can be tightened up from the bottom. Some toilets can be tighten up from top. You may need to contact toilet manufacture if you are not sure your toilet type. The standard measurement is 5 1/2 inches. Measure the width of the bowl at its widest point. Measure the length of the bowl from between the seat bolts to the outer edge of the front of the bowl. Round bowls should have a length of about 16 1/2 inches and elongated bowls should be 18 to 18 1/2 inches. Topseat

Q: Is this a soft-close toilet seat?
A: That is regular hinge toilet seat. If it is slow close seat, product name will show "slow close hinge" and detail description will mention slow close, too. Currently Elongated slow close seat is out of stock. When it is in stock, we will update the inventory. Thanks. Topseat

Q: Does it work if you have a bidet underneath?
A: I can't tell whether it will work or not. It will be all different from which toilet seat has. You need to contact toilet company. Our toilet seat has a stud(metal thread one) to get through the toilet seat to the toilet. It is a certain length. If you bidet is too thick, stud may be too short that is what I think. You may need a different stud (longer one) to tighten. But, I can't tell not seeing your toilet. Thanks. Topseat

Q: Is the toddler part magnetic to the lid?
A: It could be to the lid and to the toddler seat, too. When you use metal on top of lid and seat, it sticks on both. :)
