I got mine as a upgrade from an old machine that still worked. I like the level platform ability instead of the old forced incline.

I have had my total gym Evolve for about a month now and absolutely love it! I was introduced to TotalGym through physical therapy and decided to invest in one for home use - best decision ever!! It is sturdy and heavy, but I am still able to make the board adjustments without help from my husband. It is a great workout and I think will be useful to keep me in shape for years to come.

I previously had an older version of the Total Gym, which I used regularly and enjoyed a lot. My new TG Evolve blows my older version away. I love it! The padding is so much thicker and higher quality. There is no friction on the sliding bench. It glides so easily. The adjustable height range allows for higher adjustments which equals more resistance. I am truly thankful for this product and can say that it was well worth every penny I spent in purchasing it. I have seen tremendous muscle growth since using this. I have lifted weights for decades but enjoy this product and see just as good results, or even better, from my TG Evolve. When they say it's the only piece of equipment you'll really ever need, they're telling you the truth. The variety of exercises and workouts available to you are geared to tone the entire body and every muscle group. All you have to do is make the commitment to get on it and go. You'll see and " feel" the results in short order. I did, and I'm hooked.

I had the TG XL years ago and I loved it. I am now 55 and needed to re-engage in low impact and stable type of exercises that could accommodate my 6'5 big body. This EVOLVE is a gift from God to me, as it is as smooth as accommodating. I HIGHLY recommend this unit for all body types. I have tried a lot of equipment over my years and this one is very personal.

The Evolve is the Cadillac of total gym, home gyms. I know based upon a lot of reviews folks want an adjustable glide board for the fit, but it wouldn’t compare to the evolve. This is a sturdy piece of equipment that to me out performs the models offered before. I look forward to more accessories catered to this version.

Good exercise focus, some improvement possible. It can help strengthen all the most important muscle groups. Operationally it's a bit weak on leg strength (although adding a weight bar can compensate.) It would help to have a way to hold the inclined pad while getting on and off. I've seen gyms with professional level similar devices set up work arounds to steady this, but that needs two people. Overall, it's a very good machine for home use.

We had owned at TG 1700 model for a number of years and liked it. As We have aged we were seeking a more "age appropriate" version and decided to go for the Evolve. I am 77y/o recovering from rotator cuff surgery and looking at a total knee revision on an old knee replacement. I have used a Total Gym in Physical Therapy and felt confident the Evolve would fit our needs. It has in every way. The unit is more stable, easier to use, and has the feel of commercial grade equipment. When I went for knee revision surgery they were impressed by the strength and flexibility I had attained by only one month of use. As I rehab now both the shoulder and the knee are regaining the strength and flexibility I desire. My wife has not had my problems but thoroughly enjoys the routines offered on the Total Gym web site. Thank you for a quality product that feels worth the money we spent.
