Toy Baked Goods Food Set - Hearth & Hand™ with Magnolia

Love this item, it’s cute and well made!

This food set is the cutest. When I saw it I knew my daughter would love it. She loves sweet bread from the Mexican supermarkets.

If you are purchasing purely on aesthetics and not playing with it then fine; buy it. BUT if you or your children are make believe playing with this then you need to know this: The edges are SHARP and not properly sanded/ not enough coating. Yes they are wood which is great, but properly made toys that are wood and made for children will have sanded edges making them not so sharp; like 90° angles and properly sanded/ curved edges. We were make believe playing and putting one of the crescents up to our mouths/ lips to pretend to eat and a piece slivered off and got caught on my lip. YES my child got a SPLINTER ON MY child’s LIP. I know people will purchase this anyway because it’s aesthetically pleasing to the eye but think twice and spend money elsewhere for wood toys for your kids. I know I will NOW.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the basket and wood pastries. The muffins that can be puzzled together are the pieces my toddler gravitates towards, I wish the other pieces also had a puzzle component. I also think if the basket had handles it would have been perfect, with all the pieces inside it can feel heavy. Overall great product.

Beautiful. My daughter loves playing with it and looks gorgeous in the play room.

I have purchased many Hearth & Home items & am always pleased with the quality & style. This play pastry basket is so cute. I'm certain my granddaughter will get many years of play with them.

It is such a cute and simple wooden baked goods toy. My children love it and play with it every time they are playing with their coffee play stand.

Hearth and hand has the cutest wooden toys. I can’t say enough good things about their toys! They are not only cute but they hold up to my little guy chewing and clanking them on everything!

I love how these are both beautiful and fun for my child. They have such sweet details. My only complaint is that they have a bit of a chemical smell to them. These will be well loved in our home!

I dunno why but I thought these pastries would be felt or fabric. They are beautiful except my toddler likes to weponize them.

This bread basket is being used in our 3-k class. The children absolutely love the realistic baked goods.

The pieces do not fit together well. I had two sent to my house (one was a replacement because I thought the first one was just a fluke mess up) and in both sets the wooden cinnamon roll topping wouldn’t fit into its wooden base.

Perfect for a bakery window display. Nothing will spoil. The impression is neutral as opposed to plastic.

We love the harth and hand toys and these were a perfect addition to any toy kitchen or playset. Pretend play is taking off in our house and this toy line is a must.
