A: The violin is approximately 18″ long (toy size), so not a proper student violin fraction size for learning standard technique. If your goal is for a child to learn the correct pitches/tuning (G-D-A-E) and technique, this toy might be fun for playing around, but it is not a substitute for a real acoustic or student electric violin.
