Q: Hello Treehut, I recently recieved a treehut lip butter, from the first use it felt grainy almost.... I still use it to this day because I love the soft feel it gives to my lips. Is it supposed to be?

A: I also got this product and had this but I noticed it only happened when I used larger amounts of it, so if you want it to feel smoother use a smaller amount and rub it in well!

Q: Is this supposed to come with some sort of wrapper or seal to ensure that you're the first one to use it? The first one I got didn't any kind of seal on it and the replacement didn't either.

This used to be my favorite lip product. Paired with a lip liner it looked perfect and felt good. Not sticky, not too thick. I carried this with me everywhere… Then they changed something. I don’t have the old tube anymore but comparing the one I originally bought and loved to this one, something changed and it became thick and sticky. I could see a very clear difference in the two products. I will not be buying again (unless they go back to the old way, which I doubt).

This is my favorite lip butter but the packaging is horrible. I’ve bought it twice and both times the tube split where the top screws on. When you squeeze it, it’s squirts a ton of waste out the side. I’ve had to throw them both away. It’s my favorite but I can no longer purchase because I’ve had to throw away nearly full tubes both times.

I loved the color and consistency of the lip gloss. My issue is with the packaging. The ring around where the cap completely twist on will detach and the lipgloss will burst out of the sides. This has happened twice with both tubes not being near empty. It’s disappointing it’s nearly $7 and only last me a few uses because of poor packaging.
