Tree Hut Vanilla Sugar Lip Scrub - 0.12oz

ok, so the first time I used this I was so disappointed. it felt like it had absolutely no sugar or 'scrub' to it, and it felt like I was just applying chapstick. I immediately went and looked at reviews, and saw multiple people complained of the same thing. because I had already bought it, I decided to get my money's worth and keep using it, even if it was nothing more than a chapstick. once I broke through that very first layer after a couple uses, it became a true lip scrub! it is VERY exfoliating and works great. I don't like the scrubs you have to apply with your finger, and much prefer a 'lipstick' application like this one. this scrub also feels super moisturizing, and I don't wipe it all off after applying like I do with other scrubs. if you recently got this and feel like its not scrubbing, just use it a couple more times! it's a great product!

I read some mixed reviews on this, but with my regular Elf brown sugar lip scrub out of stock I needed to take the chance. It’s definitely not as rough as the elf, but it also doesn’t leave behind all of the sugar particles that need to be removed from your lips after you use it. The product itself can be left on like a lip balm and is more moisturizing whereas the elf is a little more waxy. I think this product would be a better exfoliant for those with raw, chapped or sensitive lips whereas something like the elf is better for removing more of the dry flakes of skin on lips where the barrier isn’t compromised.

My lips were ultra chapped. All I wanted was relief. I spent like $9 on this and it not only didn’t moisturize, it didn’t scrub either. Use Aquaphor instead, trust me!

This feels more like a lip balm than a scrub. I was hoping g it would be more like the old elf lip scrub lipsticks, but it has like hardly any sugar scrub in it at all.

I love this product makes my lips feel so smooth and last for hours. Great for when you don't have time to use a more exfoliating lips scrub which I would still recommend, but perfect for daily use.

I absolutely love treehut products, but this one is a no. It does not scrub whatsoever, it feels like Vaseline on my lips. Buy anything from treehut except this product!

The smell and flavor of the lip balm is great, strong but not overwhelming. I do wish it had a little bit smaller flakes of sugar for the scrub part. It feels like the larger ones don't move around as well on my lips, so it doesn't get all the dead skin off. Definitely moisturizing though and it is now a part of my nighttime routine.

I am always on the search for a way to hydrate them! I used this lip scrub, every night for a week. Pro's: -The smell was nice and wasn't too overpowering -I like the packaging, it comes in a tube like chapstick -It wasn't messy because of the packaging, just roll it on and wipe it off with a tissue. -Petroleum free Con's: -Although I didn't check what each ingredient was, there are many, most of which I can't pronounce - The presence of "Fragrance" in the ingredients list - It left my lips a little sore. Overall, I liked most the convenience of how it is applied. It helped some in removing dead skin on my lips, but by the next evening it had all returned. I will continue to use it for a little while longer to see if it helps more after longer use. The one thing that makes me think I won't buy it, is the presence of "Fragrance" in the ingredients. There is so much research out there that suggests this generic term is the cause of so many health concerns. I prefer to buy products that tell me what it is they use for fragrance. That said, it wouldn't bother me so much if I didn't have such sensitive skin.
