A: Yeah it's a metal wind up knob and you have to shake the globe. I'm trying to figure out if it lights up because it appears to be lit in the photo and mine doesn't have an obvious switch

Beautiful but shipping is problematic
I love this snow globe, it is very pretty. I was hoping to give these for gifts, but target doesn’t know how to ship fragile items. I ordered it 3 different times and the first time they shipped 3 of them in a box with just paper to protect it and they shattered. I tried 2 more times and they were shattered and undeliverable by shipper. Buy it in the store or don’t bother at all. They’re beautiful if you can get your hands on them in one piece!

I guess we can't buy delicate items from Target online. The globe showed up completely broken in a beat up and soggy box. I opened to get a photo and cut my finger. It's too bad that these were sold out in store, because I won't try again online.

This is such a beautiful snow globe. The scene is very calming and peaceful. The deer is adorable. I love that the snow globe has so many snowflakes, unlike many more expensive ones out there. Target packed it very nicely so it arrived in pristine condition. However, wind up for the music was bit loose and didn’t play music. Target replaced the snow globe. Very happy with this purchase

Lovely deer in trees Christmas snowglobe

The snowglobe is glass and and heavy and feels very solidly made. Beautiful globe, kiddos love it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t own a single glass snow globe until this one because my children are now getting old enough that it isn’t as risky of a purchase. This is such a lovely snow globe and I absolutely love that it has a wooden base and feel like it just adds an extra touch of style and craftsmanship. The snow only swirls around and falls when it is shaken not when it is wound up to play music but that hasn’t been a problem because my kids always shake it after they wind it up anyway. It’s on the smaller side for a snow globe but works for us!

Sweet deer and tree snow globe

It is a musical snow globe which plays ‘Oh Christmas Tree’. There is a wind up button on the bottom to stay the music. Their is no motor or light for reflecting the snow. In order to see the snow you have to manually shake the globe.

Snowy Deer/Nature Music Globe
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was hard to get a great picture of the glove, but it’s beautiful. I love the wood base of the glove, as it adds so much character to this item. The glove is simple, with snowy evergreen trees and a deer right in the middle. When you shake the globe, snow surrounds the deer and trees. It also features a music! Reminds me of my jewelry boxes as a kid. This is a great purchase and such high quality for the price. I purchased this online and Target did a fabulous job packaging this item to protect it during shipping! I definitely recommend!
