This has been quite a year for ice storms and electricity outages....and then the subsequent power surges. Once again, I have had a surge that caused some problems at my home. This time though, my Tripp Lite Surge Protector did it's job, and saved all of the sensitive components connected to it. The Surge Protector itself was damaged, but nothing else. I made a quick phone call to my favorite Claims Administrator at Tripp Lite, and she (Y.S.) sent me a replacement faster than i could have hoped for. So once again, Tripp Lite stands behind their warranty, even though I am definitely feeling like a serial warranty abuser. The customer service is second to none, and the no-hassle replacement process world class ! Still a customer for life.

This is built like a tank. I trust it to protect my expensive electronics, and I love the look. The right-angle plug is perfect for plugging it in behind furniture.

Bought this one primarily for lightning protection. Have had extremely good luck in the past. During a recent near hit lightning event all devices on isobars survived with no damage. Other non-isobar protected strips were damaged along with some of the protected equipment. Decided to spend the extra money and protect remaining equipment with isobars. Longer line cord eliminates an otherwise required extension cord. I have used isobars to eliminate generator hum in portable sound systems for many years and they do an excellent job.

These are absolutely great surge suppressors. I have been buying these since 2011 and had 1 fail, from 2011, and just a quick call to the Tripp Lite professionals and I had my replacement within a week. The protector sacrificed itself and everything plugged in was saved. That was a big surprise because I had two Alexa plugs, my iPad, my iPhone, and my land line on this protector. You can't beat this heavy duty protector or the quality and professionalism of their customer service.

Tripp-Lite is the only brand I'll spend my money on to protect my equipment!!!! X brand was a great product at one time but it seems they farmed out production and quality suffered but it's still a worthy competitor. I won't buy a (u know which brand I can't inject here) if I can get my hands a Tripp-Lite product. I have at least half a dozen or more Tripp-lite devices around the house........ a superior product that delivers superior performance. Just keep doing your thing Tripp-Lite!!!!!

Just what I needed! Great protection with 8 outlets and a 25 foot cord. I always trust Tripp Lite.

We use it as a power filter and extension cord. It does both really well. The 25ft cord is very useful and not as stiff as other surge protectors we have. It is very resistant with its metal body; and also the 90 degree plug is useful to use it behind a desk. The only drawback with this multi-outlet is the separation between them. It is quite tight.

The 825 ultra works great in my feed room connected to a electric fence controller. But is surpassed by Tripp Lite. They have bent over backwards to help. I told them I had to plug it in about 10 ft, away from the controller. They wanted it to be plugged in directly with no extension cord. They sent me the wrong one (to short a cord). They told me o]to keep it and they would send another free. Later the controller got a surge from the fence side, no fault of Tripp Lite. They sent me another free, The customer relations of Tripp Lite should be a model for all companies to go by. From now on if I buy a surge protector, you can bet it will be a Tripp Lite. Great Company, and great claims administrator.

The 25 foot surge protector was just what we needed in our office. Sometimes outlets just are not where you need them for the best placement of equipment. With this unit we were able to place our printer where we needed it and still have it protected from power surges and lightening. We did have an issue with one side of the unit going out over a weekend but Tripp-Lite replaced it, no questions asked. Thanks, Tripp-Lite!

I bought my first brand-new computer and wanted a top-notch surge suppressor to keep it safe. All my exhaustive research led me to Tripp-Lite. I chose the SOBAR825ULTRA because of the long cord. The outlets in my apartment are oddly-placed, and now I can arrange my furniture any way I want. In addition, it got us safely through Hurricane Sandy. I would both buy this again and recommend it to anyone with no hesitation at all!

This surge protector is made well. Mount holes on back if needed. I bought it because it had an extra long cord. i needed this because I had to hide the cord under a table and across a hallway where there is foot traffic, it is hidden in one of those floor pieces. I would buy again if needed.
