Description
Providing premium protection for essential network workstations, telecom systems, point-of-sale equipment, audio/video systems, appliances, power tools, and other expensive electronics, the Tripp Lite® by Eaton® ISOBAR6ULTRA Isobar 6-Outlet Surge Protector with 6-ft. power cord and 3 isolated filter banks features a network-grade surge protection rating of 3,330 Joules to defend your sensitive electronics against even the strongest surges and spikes. Your devices plug into six widely spaced NEMA 5-15R outlets, which are arranged in 3 exclusive isolated filter banks. These internal barriers filter out electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) that can disrupt your electronics and inflict hardware damage or data loss. Included safety covers block accidental contact with unused outlets. An integrated 12-amp circuit breaker protects all outlets and shuts down connected equipment in case of overload. The lighted on/off switch provides one-touch control over connected equipment. Diagnostic LEDs confirm power, protection and line fault status. The 6-ft. AC power cord includes a space-saving right-angle NEMA 5-15P plug.

A must have
In the current electric grid failing condition we have experienced several brown-outs and power outages. Purchased this particular product for the durability. Recently had brown out power which blew out another brand, made sure to replace it with a Tripplite product know for quality and durability. This surge protector is far more robust with a sturdy metal casing that is very well made. I am confident it will protect the Mill and Lathe properly. Worth the extra cost to protect critical systems.

Great Warranty and Equipment Protection
I like that it is solid and the outlet connections are 'tight'. The warranty on the equipment plugged into it is a big plus. I bought it to prevent any damage to my radio equipment. This is just what I need.

I come from the world of data centers. Tripp Lite is a superb line of products for both residential and commercial use. I have them everywhere throughout my house, attic and even garage. I've even put some in my Mom's house.

Isobar Ultra 6 surge protector
I purchased an Isobar Ultra 6 to provide power to my seismograph system. The Isobar is an older unit, sold as NOS. It works perfectly and I feel confident it will protect my delicate instrumentation. Bob Mansfield

Protection for my stuff
I have purchased other Isobar Surge Protectors and I like this one better than the others because the plug pigtail is mounted in an angle instead of mounting straight out of the plug. This allows me to move furniture closer to the wall instead of accommodating the plug to the furniture. The mounting holes on the back of the unit are a nice bonus and I can mount the box on the desk instead of it being kicked around on the floor. The cord length is nice so I can plug it almost anywhere. I also like that Isobar warranties its product as well as the stuff I plug into it should it fail. I've never had any problems with the others I've purchased (and its been longer than 10 years now.
