Thank you very much for your question. The Evi Bassinet pad does not fit a standard size sheet. The unit comes with two sheets for your convenience. The mattress is waterproof. I hope this answers your questions.

it has its pros and cons
there are pros and cons to this bassinet. it has a long way to go before becoming a 5 star product. pros: its comfortable and safe for baby. you can remotely turn rocking motion on/off and change speed. cons: the app itself is not great at all. it uses some third party app to be run. the level settings jump from 20 to 40 to 60 etc instead of allowing smaller adjustments. the sounds are not easy to select, each time you turn on the sounds it plays 1 of the sounds and to get to the sound you want you'd have to start, stop, start until you get to the sound you want. I think if they made their own app and made some adjustments this bassinet could be much better.
