The clean, sweet flavor contained in Truvia Original Calorie-Free Sweetener packets comes from nature in the form of the stevia leaf. Leaves don't dissolve well in beverages or baked goods, so we extract the sweetness from the stevia leaf. Because stevia leaf extract is 200x sweeter than sugar, we balance the sweetness with erythritol, a sweetener produced by fermentation. Erythritol is also found in fruits like grapes and pears. This gives you the white crystals you're used to without the calories. This 40-count box is just the right size to fit on your counter or in your pantry.

Regular sugar in my coffee is something I can't kick but my hubby absolutely adores truvia and is now only wanting that in his coffee and tea. Good alternative to sugar

It does come from the natural Stevia plant and is a natural sugar that you can add. However, it is not my preference because it is a sugar alcohol, which can cause some bloating. So for me this product isn’t quite right, but for other others, it’s going to be a great alternative. Also the packaging is super convenient and easy.

Its ok but not my cup of tea
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its ok not as sweet as my usual sweetener and I feel like it leaves an after taste that Im not entirely a fan of I used it in my cup of hot tea. Seems like you could put it in anything to sweeten it up but again I feel like it could be sweeter than it is. I followed the suggested serving size of one packet. I will say there is a pretty good amount in the packet it comes in but I also feel like I may have to use 3 or more to get my tea as sweet as I'd like it not terrible though.
