I ordered this bed for my 4-year-old after doing a fair amount of research. I purchased this one because of it's sturdiness, and ability to hold the weight of myself, my husband, and my daughter. It also had some storage features that I liked. The shelf on top is great for holding a drink, a small night light, some stuffed animals, and some tissues when sick. My daughter loves it. We have had no issues with the bed after assembling it. The drop-down shelf is less useful in my opinion currently as you have to be able to reach both sides to pull it down. But as she gets older I'm sure she will find some use for it. Our package arrived damaged in shipping; I reached out to both Target and to the manufacturer directly. After my initial complaint to Target, I was told to send an email to which they never followed up. The manufacturer however, when above and beyond to make sure the product was useful. After a very short back and forth, they mailed me out an entirely new bed because the pieces that we had could not be fixed, at no fault of the company. Something heavy must have been dropped on the box in shipping. They went above and beyond to follow up and make sure that everything was okay and that we were happy with our purchase. I would definitely buy from this company again.

edges are too sharp, very dangerous for toddlers. I didn’t returned it because it is too hard to disassemble.
