Umbrella Stand Cream - kate spade new york x Target

This thing is heavy. Solid concrete. So be prepared for that. It's ironically ugly too having come from a designer collection. I guess all designer collections usually have that one item. It arrived chipped aroud the base, so obviously the concrete isn't the best concrete quality. The paint isn't as smooth or thick as it looks in the photo. It's not like an enamal coating or anything. Just spray paint on concrete. Think cheap 80's era hotel furnishings. As ugly as it is, I won't be returning- it is far too heavy. If we ever get a tornado I will be sure to attach my children to this monstrocity. I think I will spray paint it gold, or maybe KS green as that would MUCH improve the look of it.

This stand is so much better looking than those black plastic stands. It is super heavy, I had a hard time getting box in my yard. But I really like it. I tried it out with my beach umbrella, which worked. But I need to purchase a bigger umbrella for more cover.

I ordered this online and when It arrived it was broken. I never even had a chance to put it together to see what it looked like.

This umbrella is awesome and nicely made! I love the wheels addition and the wheels lock too! Love it Kate spade!!! I was afraid it was going to get delivered damaged and FedEx did their thing and the whole box was intact and nicely delivered in my front door. Easy assembly no tools needed. For $75 it better be heavy and big!

Arrived with concrete chunks missing. Not at all described or like the cute photos. What a heavy hunk of junk. It's too heavy for me to lift to get in my car to return, so I have to get someone to do it for me and come with to get it out of my car and return. What an absolutely pain and waste of time. I can't believe they put the Kate Spade name on this.

Really loved this! I loved that it was concrete and on wheels. Makes it super easy to move around my cafes back patio. I had a style from Amazon that was not as user friendly as these.

This is literally nothing like the cute image on the site. It's extremly heavy and concrete. This photo looks like it has a plastic top filled with concrete vs. concrete spreay woth white on top. Mine also came with cracks at the bottom.

Not at all as pictured. Chipped paint and chunks of concrete missing. Definitely not worth the money.

Mine arrived with no chips/damage. It is exactly as described, and I read the description prior to ordering. Reviews by persons who are disappointed by the weight are unfair. The description says it is made of concrete and weighs 55lbs. Yes, it is heavy and difficult to pickup. However, once assembled with the wheels attached, it rolls easily. I like it and look forward to using it with the matching umbrella. Also, because of its weight, the umbrella will remain standing in heavy winds, unlike my older and lighter umbrella stand.

It's large and heavy and the box it's shipped in is not sturdy enough. it came broken and unusable. Customer service was wonderful though, so it wasn't a total loss.

Absolutely worth the money to me. It is heavy but if it wasn’t the umbrella would fall over, especially on tilt. It’s made of concrete so it has marks like concrete. I’m a 52 yr old woman and I put it together by myself. Just used the box to flip it over and put the screw in wheels on first. Everything just screws in!!

Not very accurately described…. It arrived with a 1-inch chunk missed and paint cracked and peeling in multiple places. HOWEVER, I’m keeping it because I couldn’t find a 50lb umbrella holder with wheels that looks even relatively attractive for the same price. I’m also keeping it because they offered me a partial refund, so the price was even cheaper (but it was the LEAST target could do).

Looks NOTHING like the picture. The edges along the side is all chipped and the top has pock marks. It weighs A LOT. So much so that it's still sitting on my front porch. Have to use a dolly to move it to the car, try to get it into the car, then return to Target. I really can't believe they are selling this garbage under the Kate Spade label. Save your money and your back!

Well, to begin with, the item arrived damaged. Because of the horrible packaging it was damaged with concrete remnants all over my wood porch deck. Secondly, it's so heavy i can't even believe Target thought this was a good idea to be part of this collaboration. There is nothing about it that says Kate Spade. The only positive was Target Customer Service. They were excellent and resolved the issue immediately.
