Expired meat every time!
I have purchased this deli ham three times in the past month and a half and every time I’ve received expired meat. The first time (7/9) I called and was given a refund on the phone. The second time (7/17) I had to call a couple times to find someone who knew how to refund over the phone. The last time (8/29) they told me I had to bring it into the store for a refund. I am a curbside customer because my husband has dementia. So this is difficult. My question is who’s checking the food they are putting in their fridge. All 3 times the expiration date was July 2nd.

Tasty ham, when it's not a month past expiration.
Previously purchased, and tasty when not past its expiration, what a shame. Family member worked for Target in cold grocery, it's a shame they never have enough caring people that want to work and keep on top of product rotation. If you're a hard worker, you get brow beaten and treated like crap from the Leads. Can't win. Target needs to package this in resealable pouch and stop plastic container nonsense. What people do recycle, it apparently isn't bring properly recycled down up the chain. Surely only a minimum of the containers get repurposed in the home. I'm going to stop purchasing for for reasons.

Rotten
Target needs a better inventory system. I have received multiple items that have been expired from Drive Up. I instantly smelt the rot from their ham. The ham was over a month old. I get a few days; however a month is inexcusable! Do better!

Never buy groceries with pick up
I ordered pick up in store, so I didn’t see the date until I got home. Use by Nov 6, I ordered on Nov 10th. I went to open it to use some and it was rancid

An insult to the black forest and it´s famous ham
When I travel, I like to see how other countries see the world and the foods from other places. Cheese, ham, etc. This time, I spotted this "Uncured Black Forrest Ham" at Target. The front picture already made me curious, the actual ham (yes, I bought it out of curiosity) confirmed my first impression: Real, DOP-certified (EU since 1997) Black Forest Ham is a naturally grown piece of meat that has been dry-cured and cold-smoked. It resembles the appearance and texture of the famous Italian "Prosciutto". This product on the other hand resembles Moulded boiled ham that has had smoke aroma added or has been hot-smoked. This product on the other hand resembles Moulded boiled ham that has had smoke aroma added and/or has been hot-smoked. Don´t get fooled: Calling this product "Black Forest Ham" is an insult to all the businesses and people, making the real deal in the Black Forest.

Great Generic Option
Looking for good ham on a budget? You won’t mistake this for top of the line deli offerings, but this is easily one of the best “store brands” around. It’s my new favorite, I just hope they can keep it in stock.

The brand I normally buy of Ham has been out for months, so I have bought the good and gather brand. Taste is fine, but not as salty as cured ham. I do love the reduction in ingredients, making this a healthier option. I also have found there are lot more "hard" chunks, most likely cartilage, in the meat which are very unappetizing.
