The material is soft and flowy and extremely comfortable. The issue is the inner lining. The inner lining shorts are the same soft/flowy material rather than spandex/atheletic wear. So the underlying shorts RID UP. The outer lay is extremely flowy... and basically you end up mooning everyone. These are fine to wear around the house (but you do constantly pull down the base short layer), but they are not acceptable for workouts/sports.
