Unique Vintage 1970s Women's Wrap Midi Dress

The fit was a bit generous, but the belt and a safety pin made it all work. I love the feel of it. It's warm enough for a southern California winter. It's very eye catching. I was the hit of every party. I am constantly getting complements on it.

Super high quality, this dress impressed me. It's a true wrap dress in super soft stretch velvet. The stars and constellations are lovely and vivid, I nearly thought they were embroidered (though I think they're just very well done puffy paint printed). The dress does not look cheap, however I did need to snip several stray threads. Worth it, though. Used the size chart for how I wanted it to fit. Could have sized down a bit, but the style is forgiving and I am very comfortable in it. Should coordinate well with my silver platform sandals and a gorgeous silver velvet me-made art deco opera coat!

So I have a problem. And that problem is that I own this in three colors now! It's so versatile and so soft. The velvet has weight to it without being too heavy. I can wear this is a wrap dress or a duster, and I feel like a movie star! I'm in-between a size M and L due to my bust, and I could size down, but I like the security of sizing up, as the button system on this makes me nervous. I prefer there being zero tugging on the buttons, and I add a more structured stretch belt (not the one it comes with) for extra security. I'm just 4'11", and this dress hits right at my ankle/top of my shoe-- it's perfect!

This dress is great! Flattering, warm, pretty, and versatile. fits true to size :)

The only thing I am not happy with is that it is not actually a wrap dress. It buttons on each side instead. I am debating getting this altered to fix it.

This was part of a sale. The large was the only size they had available. I am usually a small but this dress actually fit perfectly. The color, material, fit and pattern are so beautiful I feel like a queen when I wear it. It’s incredibly flattering and comfortable!

This dress is beautiful and sumptuous to the touch, it has a good stretch so it’s forgiving- the reason 4 stars and not 5 is it need a little hook at the boobs to keep them from spilling out.

Dress is cute, I felt sizes were true to size, other reviews said it ran large, but I recently bought a dress at Ann Taylor a size smaller than this dress, and I almost wish I would have gotten a size larger if that helps anyone. Though I love the dress's look, I likely would have returned it if it wasn't so 'cool' of a dress. Both buttons came off upon first time putting it on because of small button holes, and I had to resew before it was ever worn

Didn't suit my shape. Looked like a robe on. The fabric is gorgeous though

Fits exactly how it should. Love the feel and the design is beautiful. Great quality can't wait to wear it to the wedding I need it for.

This is an absolutely gorgeous dress. High quality fabric, beautiful cut. But I ordered my size according to measurements and the dress I got was enormous. I'm usually a 2X but I have to return and size down.
