Unique Vintage Women's Plus Delores Swing Dress

This green gem of a dress is perfect in every way! The fit, the length all lovely. Just wish there were more colors!

The fit is perfect, and the color is beautiful. The fabric feels like good quality fabric and was heavier than expected. The stretch in the fabric was unexpected but very nice.

I planned to wear this dress to a wedding and have had sizing issues with Unique Vintage before, so I was extremely careful to follow the provided size chart and took my fresh measurements to make sure it was the correct size. It fits horrendously. This item is also obviously not patterned for a plus sized body. The middle section is too long to sit nicely at a natural waist, the bust section hits about midway down my bust, and if you pull it down to sit where the neckline should, the shoulder section gaps and sits terribly. This is not worth the price tag and it's clear that UV is moving to fast fashion practices and keeping their slow fashion price tags. This dress isn't even lined and the system won't even let me return the dress to get a refund, so I'm stuck with a poorly constructed dress that you can't pay me to wear

I think this was my last straw with Unique Vintage. The sewing quality and actual structure of the garments has just tanked over the last couple of years and the size charts are basically useless. I double checked measurements on myself against the chart to make sure I wouldn't be disappointed again and yet. This barely fit with a gaping chest (and I'm sitting with an H chest so I can only imagine how huge this is on less endowed people) and the seams are in extremely unflattering positions. Makes it seem like it was sewn from a veeeery sized up straight size pattern, so of course it fits terribly. This was going to be a splurge investment for my closet to wear to a wedding, but now it just feels like a waste of money because it looks so bad.

I purchased this dress for a cocktail event and I could not believe the amount of compliments I received! The dress was comfortable, yet flattering, truthfully I could have sized down, but it was still beautiful. The material is stretch so I had no issues with any part of our feeling restricting at all. I've always wanted to have a dress like this and I'm so happy with it! Can't wait to wear it again.

Must have staple dress. I’ve never owned anything that came and fit like a glove immediately until this dress and that is a hard task! Buy it.

The size was true to size, unlike non-unique vintage brands which you need to order up. The fit was great, material was stretchy and comfortable. I'm short waisted, so I may want to have it tailored in the future, but other than that it was a great fit. I received many complements! This was my first purchase, but I don't think it will be, my last!

I am normally very critical on things that fit me due to being a plus size girlie. I was very worried that this wouldn't fit because very little does look good on me especially for this era. Needless to say, I was OBSESSED. I did buy a petticoat so that it would be full and I highly recommend that. It was a little more low cut that I am comfortable with but I had a pin from my husbands Grandmother to put there and give a bit more cover-up. I will 100% buy from here again and would LOVE to buy this dress in another color! Maybe red or black and white polka dots?

Color is incredible. It's the perfect emerald green. So bright and fresh. I am 5'3", 225lb. Technically I wear a 36C bra, but honestly a B fits better imo. I think if you're big or small tested this could fit you perfectly. I have an apron belly as I've lost a lot of weight. I ordered a 2x/18 and I definitely could have sized down. Definitely. It's stretchy material on the top, so if you're a 3X this may actually fit you. I can't say for sure. But what I can say is I should have sized down. I'm not going to return it though because it still fits great. If you want a tighter fit and have a similar body shape, wait, height, maybe go with the 1x. I absolutely recommend this dress. The material is a little heavy. So if you're going to wear it during the summertime, just be prepared you're going to be a little bit warm. I put a petticoat under mine, it looks great with or without it.

Fits True to size chart. In most clothes I'm usually a large or extra large in dresses; however, I ordered a 2X here, following the chart, as I'm a 39" waist. It fit perfectly. The dress is super comfortable and slightly stretchy due to the spandex blend. If you're short like me(4'11) be aware the neck will run a bit lower than pictured so you may want to adjust that depending on your comfortability. The back zipper runs smoothly and is not the invisible kind.

I got this dress as a costume for a play. The color is amazing if you look good in jewel tones and the cut is very flattering for hourglass figures. Love it so much.

Runs big! I got this in a smaller size, I recommend getting one size smaller than you’re used to.

The waist is tight with no give. I don't partically like for my clothes to hug me so tightly showing off all the bumps

The cut of this dress is flattering on my body. The material is a cotton blend so it has more stretch than I was anticipating. The skirt is full and flairs out evenly. It can be worn with or without a crinoline. The v cut neckline does show off the girls but doesn't sag. I used the size chart to help me determine which size to get.

It fit great and was comfortable. The color was very vivid! I loved it!

My sister is getting married and I am the maid of honor! I ordered this dress is 2 sizes to see which fit better because I know how weird sizes can be online, but when these showed up I was amazed at how soft & stretchy the material was and still looked glamorous! I love the way it looks & feels, but I just need the next size down. I’ll be ordering more from here in the future if all dresses feel like this!!
