Way too difficult for a kid
Literally the worst purchase ever. If you like HP and want a very challenging book that is more the complexity of an adult play then go for it. NOT for a kid. Very deceiving comments about kids liking this. It’s too hard for a child to read this book and make sense of it.

My little Harry Potter fans were very excited for this book. They enjoy "casting spells" with their wooden wands. Perfect for my 7 year old to encourage her to read more. I'd say it makes the perfect gift for Harry Potter fans ages 7-11ish (or older kids and adults who like to play make-believe). Would buy again! Bought one for my niece, actually! Hopefully she enjoys it as much as my kids do.

Whose bright idea was it at Target to put a sticker on the cover of this paperback book that is hard to remove. This book is a gift so it definitely makes it lose some of the magic with this sticker on it. I didn’t even realize it was a discounted item or that online purchases would have stickers on them. Will update the review if the person receiving this book likes it.

This is kind of a tongue in cheek gift for my daughter. When she was on an all girls' weekend, her and one of the other ladies were doing Harry Potter spells with straws. They had a good laugh between them, while the other ladies thought they lost their minds. Now she can really do the spells. LOL
