Phenoxyethanol is an ingredient used in Gold Bond Ultimate Eczema Relief Cream, Lotion and Hand cream as well as the Medicated Eczema Relief Cream. However, it was decided that Gold Bond formulas would be changed in the upcoming future to remove phenoxyethanol. Gold Bond Eczema products and Gold Bond Ultimate Eczema products will continue to have phenoxyethanol as an ingredient until the formula is updated to be free of phenoxyethanol in the upcoming future. We recommend that you review the list of ingredients present on the label on shelf to make sure the product is suitable for you.

I bought this product after a nasty sunburn, hoping it would keep my skin hydrated and bring down my redness. An hour after just one use, my skin already looked less inflamed and felt less dry. I kept reapplying because my skin absorbed this product so quickly due to how dehydrated it was. I really feel like this product made a difference versus the aloe I had been using, and I wish I had found it a little sooner. I also learned that colloidal oatmeal contains flavonoids and phenols which can absorb UV rays, so I will definitely be using this from now on post-sunscreen to help keep my skin protected and young!

This works pretty well! Only thing is it can be a bit greasy. But the relief is immediate and I reach for it everytime I finish washing my hands. I have to do that to prevent more eczema breakouts so as a first line of defense this is great.

This Gold Bond Eczema Relief Lotion actually works! It cleared up my irritation fairly quickly, and I saw a noticeable difference in my skin within a few days. It goes on smooth and easy and doesn’t leave my skin greasy. It’s full of safe ingredients that don’t irritate my sensitive skin, and doesn’t have a strong scent. This lotion is medicated with 2% colloidal oatmeal which has been clinically shown to help eczema patients with healing their skin barrier and reducing itching. I primarily use this on my hands and it provides quick relief to dryness but does have a slightly greasy feel. This lotion has no discernable smell and can be used on any part of the body so it's a great all around product. I still suffer from cracked hands in the winter, but since using this product I have had a good amount of improvement.

My daughter’s hands were starting to get really patchy and in some spots , dark due to the cold weather.This immediately gave her relief on the dry/itchy skin. Her hands feel so smooth and they are visibly getting better, I’m so happy to see the flare ups contained. The discoloration is still a little there but with time we’re hoping this heals all that right up.
