The lavender scent is light and calming, and I notice they start to relax not long after it’s applied. The lotion is rich and takes a little time to absorb, but their skin feels soft and nourished once it does. I appreciate the clean ingredients and extra hydration, and I already purchased another bottle because it stands out compared to other children’s lotions.

I like to lather the kiddos before bed because of the lavender, don’t know if it actually has any sleep benefit but it has been nice for our sleep routine.

The lotion feels more like a cream. It goes on very smooth and absorbed nicely into the skin. It left my daughter's skin feeling hydrated and soft...not greasy! She said she felt it did help with her growing pains and muscle aches from PE class.

It’s super easy for the kids to use on their own (which they love), and it really does help them settle after a long, overstimulating day. The texture is nice - not too thick or greasy - and it moisturizes well, especially after the tub when their skin tends to dry out. Only watch out: you do need to lay down the rules early, or they’ll slather it on like it’s sunscreen. A little goes a long way, and once they get that, it’s a great little addition to the wind-down routine. Not magic, but solid. Definitely keeping it around.

The pump bottle is easy for kids to use on their own, which is a big plus. Both my daughters (11 and 6) use magnesium lotion before bed, and this one works just as well as the brand we normally use. The lavender scent is calming without being overpowering, and it goes on just like a regular lotion, smooth and not greasy. The only downside for us is the price, which might keep us from fully switching over, but overall it is a high-quality product that does exactly what we need.

But the really cool and useful thing about this lotion is that it has magnesium in it to help soothe sore muscles, joints and legs! My daughter loves when I use this lotion to massage her feet. I use it myself for sore muscles and joints. It really works! We love this lotion bottle, especially after long days of walking and being active. Definitely worth the price!
