Q: Has this been reformulated? The new bottle (green leaves) ingredients do not match with my previous bottles (green circle)- lower amounts of beneficial ingredients?

A: Yes, unfortunately, the beneficial ingredients are now lower in the list, and the plant antioxidant is now LAST (chamomilla recutita (matricaria) flower extract) instead of higher up. So bummed, as this was my go-to as a cleanser and also beneficial leave on. I switched to CeraVe, which has ceramides and niacinamide higher in the list.

Q: Why the formula change? The old version was a great product that now since it's been "cheapened" I will not purchase :( BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL/OLD VERSION PLZ!

Q: Is there an expiration or "use by" date for Simple Micellar Cleanser? I just found an opened bottle that got shuttled to the back of a linen closet shelf, but there's no info about dates.

A: Hi there - all products will have a production code printed on the back or bottom of each container such as: MMDDY/Plant code using a 2-digit month, 2-digit day, and last digit of the year (Ex. 04270PP01 = April 27, 2020). Please note this is the date of production, and not an expiration date. Generally, our products have a shelf life of three years from this date when stored at room temperature. We hope this info is helpful!

Q: I just purchased this product. I have to say at this time I am not a fan so maybe I am not using it correctly. Do you also use a face soap with this or do you just use a cotton ball and cleanse the face with this?

A: That is a great question! Our Simple Unscented Micellar Cleansing Water is our most advanced facial cleanser to date, yet it is gentle on even the most sensitive skin. We recommend following the directions listed on the product by appling a generous amount of product to a cotton pad. The wipe the cotton pad all around the face. Please bring back the original ingredients. I'm looking to find another brand that might have them. It's not at all the same. I can buy other brands that are similar to yours. contains the calming, beneficial ingredients previously (niacinamide, vitamin c, chamomile). They’ll be losing a lot of customers!!!!! Why change a good thing?

I love that this has no harsh chemicals, cruelty free and if you prefer makeup wipes, they have those available as well. Only con I can think of is that it doesn’t remove eye makeup that well.

I typically use Simple makeup wipes but decided to buy this instead. It worked just as well as the makeup wipes. It is effective for removing makeup and gentle. I have very sensitive, acne prone skin and this does not irritate my skin at all or cause any break outs. I recommend this but for me, I prefer the wipes.

Simple Micellar makeup remover comes in many different sizes. I tried the travel size on a trip and forgot to bring makeup remover. I really like the design and packaging which helps the produst dispense easily and can be squeezed to get all the product out. Detailed and clear instructions for use Use a cotton pad and gently wipe around the face. I quite like using makeup remover after applying blush and eyeshadow. I need to leave them on my eyes for a little longer to remove the eyeliner and mascara. After rinsing I found it worked really well, my eye and lip areas felt clean and fresh without drying out. It is gentle and non irritating. I especially like skin products that don't have artificial perfumes or dyes, harsh chemicals, alcohol, parabens, or animal-based ingredients.

I have been using the simple Miicellar water for a few years now and truly love this product! It works great with no side effects. I use it to remove makeup and smooth my face, sometimes in place of a toner. It’s inexpensive and it works well. Try it for yourself!

If you’re on a budget, this is soooo good! It’s the same thing as Garnier, but cheaper!! It doesn’t have fragrance (which is great), and never irritates my skin!

This is fantastic! It's got a fresh scent and takes away all the makeup and oil/dirt from your face. I use it soaked onto three cotton pads. My skin is combination and gets so oily. It surprises me to see what comes off even when i haven't worn makeup that day. I like this better than the Garnier version.

somehow works less than just normal water. takes minutes and minutes of painful scrubbing to remove a waterproof mascara. so awful.
