This book reveals so much about Matthew McConaughey's childhood to present. Provided much background which I found interesting.

Great book by a local author/actor/motivational speaker. Target has a great selection on books and other media products.

My husband wanted this for Christmas and loved it at first. But the amount of F-bombs and talking about masterbating regularly was just too much. We threw it away. It’s disappointing that he couldn’t have written a book without those things in it. Wasn’t worth the crap scattered throughout.

Love Matthew McConaughey. After reading this book, I like him even more! Very humble and wise. Could not put the book down!

really enjoyed this book. I'm 54 and a lazy reader. usually loose interest in a book half way through the first chapter. but I couldn't put this book down. really enjoyed Matthew's story and his wisdom and insight on life. never blames anybody for failures in life. always takes accountability for mistakes and willingness to change himself for the better. Thanks Matthew for sharing your story with us. and will always pray for you and your family. God Bless !

Originally I bought this for my son. I am a fan of Matthew McConaughey, but I don’t usually buy celebrity books. I wanted a book that was interesting for a young man with life wisdom. Before I started wrapping it I began reading it and if Christmas wasn’t the next day I would’ve sat down and finished it. I’m now going to buy a copy for myself!

I bought this book for my husband. He’s moving right through it. Talks about how insightful Matthew is. I look forward to reading it when he finishes it.

I loved reading this book and firmly believe it connects well with the reader. So much great storytelling and inspiring words of wisdom. finished the whole book tonight. I read it in about 5 days. I already read the sample book but I really liked it so much that I bought this book.

Such a great book! I’ve always loved Matthew as an actor and his backstory made me love him even more. He does not brag in this book but tell his life stories and experiences and I enjoyed it so much. Definitely recommend if you’re a fan!
