About the Book
"Noelle Tom really shouldn't have eaten those dumplings at the night market. But the old woman at the stall said they'd give her what she needed most, and what Noelle desperately needed after another long workweek was food. Except now she's reliving the same Friday. Every morning her alarm goes off at 6:45, and the Wordle answer is always 'happy.' Worst of all, any work she does at her job as an engineer? It's erased when she wakes up. Monday might never come in this workaholic's nightmare. Noelle has no idea how being trapped in a time loop is the 'thing she needed most,' and a trip to the food stall doesn't help--because there's no sign of it. Then she meets good-looking Cam, who appears in multiple places on her Friday. While the brewery owner seems to have no memory of their encounters, there are signs he might be the key to getting un-stuck. But Noelle can't figure out how, even when she steps outside of her comfort zone and lives a little. As she grows attached to him, she becomes more worried that she'll never escape the loop and he'll never recall her name. And if she does ever get out, can they be together in the 'real' world?"Book Synopsis

This was just my kind of book! As a big fan of time loops/alternate realities in stories, I was very excited to find that in a romance! Time Loops & Meet Cutes is full of sweet, engaging, and enjoyable moments. At first it felt rushed with the passing of time sometimes being squished into a few sentences, but as I continued with the story I could tell that there was so much more to Noelle's (and Cam's) story than just the repeats of June 20th. This dual POV works so well! I found Noelle to be very likeable, even though she is initially described as being a workaholic and rigid in her activities. She is truly full of heart, kindness, and good intentions. I also really loved reading Cam's internal thoughts, and enjoyed that he was so intentional about his interactions with Noelle. All of the references to different foods and beverages were a lot of fun! I love watching cooking shows and trying new restaurants, so this was a fun element of the story for me. I also happen to love dumplings, and bubble tea! Time Loops & Meet Cutes is a feel-good romance with wonderful characters that bring out the best in each other. Truly something magical to read about; an escape from the day-to-day. *I was given this ARC by Atria Books via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own!
