Al B. Sure! is a globally celebrated singer, songwriter, and producer with multiple RIAA-certified multiplatinum albums, American Music Award, Soul Train Awards, and multiple Grammy nominations. His 1988 Warner Brothers breakout single Nite and Day propelled his debut album In Effect Mode to the top of Billboard Magazine's R&B charts for seven straight weeks. A pivotal ambassador of New Jack Swing, he has worked with some of the most acclaimed artists and producers of our time, including the late Quincy Delight Jones Jr., Usher, Diana Ross, Tevin Campbell, Faith Evans, David Bowie, Rod Stewart, Michael McDonald, JODECI, and more. In October 2022, Sure! miraculously woke up from a two-month coma having endured multi-system organ failure, a thirty-eight-day stint on a ventilator, and a medical crisis that placed him on kidney dialysis and required a liver transplant.
