Like all the meat from here, it has been injected with fluid :/
If you don't mind a slurry of water mixture coming from the meat that slightly foams while cooking, then this is for you. It takes a much longer cooking time that anticipated because of the extra fluid injected into this meat. We have experienced the same with the ground beef we get from here as well. Such a shame. Other than that, it seems to be ok. Just paying for the fluid-weight, really.

Good but expensive
Ahh shrinkflation! These are tasty and handy but wow the price! And the ever-decreasing package size (IE increasing cost per pound hidden by stable price per pack). Trader Joe’s sells *grass fed*, seasoned and sous vide cooked, thin-sliced sirloin for the same amount per pound as this uncooked, unseasoned, irregularly cut, conventionally grown meat. Putting the word “steak” on this doesn’t make it a better cut, they’re both sirloin and this is tougher. I’ll reach for this when I am in a pinch at Target but otherwise will go down the street for my beef.
