I had some kind of reaction to a product I have been using for years. I guess the formula changed and my face started to burn and was covered in red/ blotchy patches. My friend was recommended this by her dermatologist and she looked great. Pros, used it once and the burning and redness was gone! Very happy. Cons. It's super, super thick so after washing my face and using this as my moisturizer my face was extremely dry. I think it's so thick that it doesn't absorb well. Overall, I'm not unhappy with it but I wouldn't use it has my normal moisturizer.

difficult to spread and pump!
This cream does not spread very easily over your body. It also doensn't rub in, it kinda just sits on top and creates a barrier. Which wouldn't be so bad if it would at lease spread easier. Sometimes it pills up too. Especially terrible to use if you're in a hurry. There is no scent whatsoever to the point it almost has a smell of petroleum or plastic. The pump is also somewhat of a burden to use as it is very thick. Luckily it has an twist off lid too. If you can manage to throroughly apply this your skin does look healthy afterwards. It just takes too much effort and there are much better creams out there including Cerave.

This is amazing. It’s thick and fragrance free and works better than any lotion I’ve ever had. You have to use it on completely dry legs though otherwise it doesn’t rub in. The only negative is that if I put it on after I shower before bed (on legs and feet) it feels like my body is burning, like suffocating almost. Maybe just a me problem, I just use it at other times instead now

Amazing moisturizer for those on accutane!
This has been my holy grail when it comes keeping my skin moisturized. I was on Accutane for 6 months and this moisturizer kept me from turning into a pile of dry flakes. My skin ACTUALLY felt great despite the medication drying me out. Honestly super grateful that my dermatologist recommended this to me and the value for this giant tub was amazing. It lasted me for a whole year and I used it at least twice a day! Obviously take this with a grain of salt since everyone’s skin is different but I think it’s worth a shot.

Rash/bumps reaction
There’s something in this product that makes me have a rash/little bumps on my skin, I noticed after putting it on that my skin felt a bit itchy but I just ignored it and it’s been a couple days now and my forehead has tiny little bumps almost like an allergy or irritation. I’m not using it anymore. I also gave the other vanicream daily lotion a try a few months ago but that had the same result. It seems like for some people this works great, so sucks it didn’t work for me.

This lotion is non comedogenic according to its ingredient list, but it still breaks me out. I think because it’s so thick. The night I stopped using it my skin improved. I’ve used it on my legs too and it’s okay - not my favorite for the body either.
