Q: The active ingredients state 100% petroleum jelly, but then says it also contains flavor as an inactive ingredient. Where is the lip treatment that is without flavor? The flavor makes me wheeze.

A: I also have allergy/asthma symptoms to the "flavor/scent" in the lip Vaseline. just reading the labels hoping it "did not" contain that extra ingredient. it's not necessary, I don't think anyone eats

A: no, this has a flavor added to it. it's better to but the tiny jar, 1.7 oz, I think.

Ive tried alot of “lip therapy” type products and this one is by far my fav. Initially i thought the product was ugly bc the tip is so round compared to other ones that are straighter, but it ends up working out bc then the excess doesnt clump up as much. It doesnt leave a bad taste in ur mouth unless u apply incorrectly and it keeps my lips hydrated for a good amount of time. Its a little uncomfortable tho when ur lips are cracked

It's not as thick as the original which is a bummer and has an inactive ingredient of "flavor (aroma)" which is not personally preferred. Bring back the original please in addition to this one. We like options.

As far as I can tell this is simply a reformulation of the classic/packaging upgrade. If you’ve tried and liked Vaseline lip products before, you’ll probably like this. The applicator is very nice and provides a smooth application. The added scent is nice initially but it does start to smell just like normal petroleum jelly which is not my favorite smell. Overall, it’s a good occlusive and keeps my lips hydrated overnight.

Something is different with Vaseline now…it’s as if they’re using a cheaper form of petrolatum. It becomes very “wet” and then before I know it, it’s gone and my lips are feeling dryer and dryer. I’m constantly having to reapply and I do not lick my lips, I’m not eating or drinking anything. This is making my dry lips even dryer. Also, this is not 100% Petrolatum. See pictures. In your information it says 100%. Why the addition of “flavor?” What flavor? Target, I wish you would carry Lypsil. I really don’t want to have to purchase from that “W” store online. As far as it coming out of the tube, I don’t understand why some people are having a problem with it. Just squeeze gently from the bottom of the tube.

This was great until they added the "flavor". It was the only 100% petroleum jelly you could find in a convenient tube like this and the only thing my lips weren't allergic to. Now I can't use it :( bring back the original formula please!!

The only lipbalm that helped me

i really enjoy this for my consistently chapped lips. as long as it isn't too cold out this is amazing. if using in cold weather, you'll need a lot of strength to push this out of the tube.
