Don’t love the flavor, it’s very very strong and almost harsh. Kind of a burnt vanilla taste. Not quite sure how else to describe it. I also had an issue with ants getting INSIDE the bottle. Nothing else in our pantry had ants, couldn’t even find where they came from, but somehow they got in the bottle (and I’m very careful about making sure things are closed all the way). Don’t know if that’s a design flaw or the bottle we got happened to have an issue? But had to throw it away.

This has such a weird, artificial flavor to it. It claims nothing artificial on the label, but somehow tastes as fake as can be? On closer inspection of the label, it doesn’t even have any vanilla in it at all. But does have citrus extract? I’m assuming that’s where the chemical flavor is coming from. Like sweetening your coffee with floor cleaner.

I feel like the name of this product is kind of misleading. From the name I assumed it would be a vanilla flavor that tasted either like vanilla bean or crème brûlée, but instead it was a very plain, fake-tasting vanilla flavor. If you want your coffee to taste like fast food iced coffee, go right ahead, but I do not. The cap is also a standard twist cap, not a pour spout like almost all other brands of syrup (even the kroger generics).

The syrup is fine but I won’t order it online again. It came with the seal a little pulled off and the lid almost twisted off so it had been spilling in the box and on itself. Just buy in store to be safe.

Apparently vanilla bean brulee = caramel. I didn't like the taste of this at all and it tastes nothing like vanilla syrup. Also its a plastic bottle; had it not been free that probably would have stopped me from buying it.

I wish I could have tried this item! This was supposed to be my freebie for September for the Target 360 membership. None of the coffee items were available near me, so I had this shipped. It came totally empty and leaked all over and was a sticky mess! Whomever packaged this didn’t secure it at all. Disappointing Target!
