There is no contraindication other than advice would be not to use on new/unhealed tattoos. There is no known reason why it cannot be used on old/ fully healed tattoos. However, it is advised to conduct a patch test on a small area that includes part of the tattoo to show tolerance. For old/fully healed tattoos there is no known safety issue/contraindication, but Reckitt should not be held responsible if the tattoo is affected. The consumer should test for tolerance as indicated. Hope this helps.

Usually, I find it most effective when my skin is wet because you would want to clean the area with soap and water first. This allows your shaving area to be clean and your hair follicles to be softer so that you can get a better shaving. Hope this helps!

A: Thank you for your question. The active component in Veet® Legs & Body Hair Removal Cream targets the disulphide bonds in the protein keratin that makes up hair. This weakens the hair causing it to break. This effect is only on the hair shaft which is not a living tissue. It does not effect the root of the hair or the re-growth of the hair. Hope this helps.

Really works
I was influenced to buy this product from a random video I saw. I HATE shaving. I recently switched to a safety razor for less irritation but there are parts of my body that I’m afraid to use the safety razor on. Mainly on the backsides of my legs because I can’t see that area and I don’t want to get cut. This product works great when used as directed. I used it on my legs and my armpits and they’re really smooth! Of course it’s not perfect and you may have to reapply but I feel that for the price, this is a good product.

Used this on my arms/under arms & legs definitely worth it!!
I have never used any type of hair removal product besides razors. But let me tell you this actually works! ( TMI ) I didn’t save my legs for 2 months because I was lagging so I thought I’d try something different. At first I let the product sit for to long and it dried, it was a little difficult to take it off with the hairs but once I got the hang of it, hair came off like butter, definitely worth it!

Coarse hair review
I left mine on for 6 minutes and all of my hair was removed. I have extremely coarse hair and it’s even thicker on my bikini area and it still removed it. Two stars taken off because it left some type of irritation bumps on my pits and inner thigh. Still good.

Obviously you get what you pay for, so for the $10 range, don’t expect salon or wax quality. After a waxing attempt I was patchy since I ran out of wax and just needed to clean up some spots. I was pleasantly surprised with this, and my SUPER sensitive skin handled this no problem. No stinging, burning, or itching!! I also made sure to really press down while scraping. Did it get every hair? No, but it did the job well enough where I could follow up with tweezers to get the stragglers. For the price, it’s not bad. Yes, it smells like eggs. I gently rinsed in the tub with a soft soap after and my skin was okay. My legs probably would’ve been happier if I didn’t do that, but not bad.

I hate that it didn’t work/burn for others, it did great for me. Granted I only used it once and only on my lower legs. Also it helps to use a wet wash cloth to wipe it off then rinse. Tiny bit of pressure to help remove hair. I left it on for 8-10 minutes and it didn’t burn at all. We will see afterwards but so far I think it works great. Smell is very weird but of course cause it’s chemically burning the hair off. Just wash really good. I wouldn’t recommend using on any genital/sensitive areas as it is chemicals.
