Vego Garden Seed Starting Bundle

I love these trays< I have never had seeds start to sprout as fast as these did. Easy ,heavy duty.

Great for seed starting, useful design and durable

This is a premium quality seedling starter set. It is very user friendly. You can drip irrigate through the top lid. It is very easy to remove seedling from tray when ready to transplant. Plenty of oxygen gets to the roots for healthy root growth. I have plenty of experience with all high end propagation kits and this is truly one of my favorites. When not in use the whole kit compacts very nicely for storage without taking up lots of space.

A perfect way to start seeds indoors with this compact kit. Easy to water and not over water your seedlings, the material used for the kits is indestructible. I have started seeds in those other flimsy trays with limited success.

I like the design, which is better than any of the other seed starters I have owned. A little disappointed that you ad said the bundle included “everything you need to get your seedlings started…. ” I expected some seed starting soil or at least some expandable peat discs. Also, there were no instructions included. ☹️ (recommendations on how to use it). I’m far from a beginner, but it’s a new product, so there should be at least some tips foe success.

After a year of use, I I have no regrets. The only change I can recommend is to make a self watering option. I am glad I bought the 10” bundle size.

Sturdy product that can be used for years. I like the large hole on the bottom for easy plant removal as well as side slits I am new to gardening, it was exciting to see my first seed growth.

Water does not flow, and if you put pressure on the top to make it flow, then it becomes a stream only flowing to one plant. The holes in the sides of the green planters are too large and dry the plant out too much. Design needs improvement.

These trays and covers feel heavy duty. Someone in my home had placed something on top of the covers and didn’t realize till much later so I was worried they warped, but they’re totally fine. They are truly heavy duty.

This system to grow seeds worked very well for me this spring. The easy of watering each of the 8 seed cells was much appreciated. there was enough room for the plants to grow 2 sets of true leaves before they got too big for the dome covered lids. I would have liked a growing medium that when I started to transplant the seedling would have held together as I tried to plant the seedlings. I think using a potting soil mixture was a mistake on my part.

I love the design. They are sturdy, and well made. The holes in the bottom and the slits in the sides are really nice. I'd love to see a cover for the center for when I am filling them with soil. Also the lids could use to be a little thicker as the west Texas heat hit them and the drip holes opened up to the point now the just pour water in. Not a huge issue as I just mist the soil with water anyway.

Purchased the 10 x 10 seed starting bundle to start our larger variety pepper plants. Started these off in the hoop house and now they are able to come outside for a bit to harden off. Very pleased both with the speed of their growth and how well the plants are doing physically. They will likely remain in the jumbo seed starts a bit longer until they fill out and the weather warms a bit more. All in all this was a great purchase and we really like Vego's products.

The materials are very durable except for the tray covers, it seems as though they won't last as long as the other parts. The design is lacking, in that the seed starter covers causes a loss in the number of cups. Instead of 9 cups there's only 8 seed starting cups. Finally, the watering tray holder, it could stand to be a bit larger than the seed starters themselves, I spilled so much water on the floors because I could not see how much water was in the tray. The look is fine except for, in my mind, there is no need to have the top of the center caved in at all. Yes, it does make it easier to remove the cover from the tray, however, I'd rather have the spot for starting seeds. Also, the slits on the corners of the starter, if they were narrower or just random small holes, that would reduce so much of a mess when putting soil in each cup starter. I don't like that at all. If small holes were used, the roots could still get air, and there would not be such a great mess.

Sturdy and well-made. The rubber edging is hard to put on, however. I couldn't put it over the seam of two panels. A rubber mallet didn't work either. Perhaps you could provide a video on how to get the edging on over seams? I would even have bought a tool from you if had one. As it is, there's a big bump in the edge. *cry*

Work well. First time using these and I am excited to see the finish product.

My favorite seed starters! Thoughtful design and convenient to use with the tray and self watering domes. They take a gardener successfully from germination to transplant.
