Big honkin planter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed to hire a handyman to assemble the planter…too heavy for me. I’m taking my time filling it because it’s for growing garlic and I have time to do so. I love the way it looks and I believe it will perform beautifully.

I love these planters! They are beautiful. Assembly was a bit time consuming but worth it. Also. . . totally agree with all other reviews that the midnight color is like a dark gray!

Came Together Easy
I was delighted by how quickly this planter came together AND by how great it looks in the garden. I got it with the intermediate floor, which saved me a ton in soil. 10/10

Great product, only minor issues
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yeah it's pretty great. Assembly takes work but it's not that challenging if you've ever done assembly work before - it will be if you have not. The best part of assembly is that all pieces are directionally agnostic meaning you can take any piece and affix it to any other piece without worrying about top/bottom or guessing how to align them. The hardest part is aligning holes across pieces as no manufacturing process is perfect. A rubber mallet solves this. Have a piece of wood handy to slide under the fixed pieces when attaching another piece - gives you a couple raised inches to drill bottom screws. As finished product I like these a lot - the look is great, just hoping they hold up over time. I followed the Hugelkultur method but be warned the garden sinks when you start putting in the heavier top soil layers, and again when watering. I'm a little concerned that my surface is too far below the edge and will impact amount of sunlight. But at this point it's expensive to keep filling with more soil so make sure your lower cheaper layers are good and high.
