Velvet Caviar does sell waterproof phone pouches that are specifically designed for water protection. These pouches are IP68-certified, which means they are fully waterproof and submersible. In short, the case itself offers no protection from water, but the company sells a separate product for that purpose. GLASS SHATTERED IN 2 DAYS

I bought this case on 04/26. Two days later, I dropped it for the first time since purchasing the case (from a height of about 1 foot or less). The entire glass back shattered on my iPhone. The company itself will not give me money back since I purchased at Target - they'll only supply a $100 gift card for their products... that I don't want to use given the poor quality.
