Helps with a smoother shave
So Venus is my favorite brand. I love these razors or others with the similar extra features. It makes every smoother. The only issue is once that extra part goes you gotta throw it away because it’s plastic above the razor and it hurts! So be careful about that part. I still use the shaving cream with them as well

Ingredient change = razor burn
I’ve used these for literally decades and always loved them. The last few months I’ve been getting razor burn/itchy skin on both my legs and underarms. I didn’t connect it - thought my skin must just be super sensitive for some reason - until I just saw another review saying the same thing. What a bummer. They must’ve change ingredients, but mystery solved I guess.

Razor Burn and bleeding
I have used these razors for nearly a decade. Suddenly they are all giving me severe razor burn even when brand new. I am not sure what has changed, but I am very disappointed. I am so loyal to this brand and have never had a complaint. With the price, this should not be happening.

With its gel bars, all you need to need to wet your skin and razor, and use light and gentle strokes to get smooth results. Dissolves within a few uses
