A: That's a great question! Yes, the stainless steel in our razors contains slight traces of nickel. However, the exposure to nickel from razor blades made to our specification is essentially zero.

The strips are nice and slippery, which makes it easy to use when in a rush, and it feels like it’ll last a nice long time so the value for money is great as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice razor, it is good quality, hygienically packed with each blades having its own package and comes with a sticky wall holder. In terms of shaving, it has a large head, surrounded by gliding rubber, the blades are somehow integrated inside the frame. This structure helps the razor to glide smoothly on the skin with very low risk of cuts. I tried it so far under my armpit and legs - both places were shaves in seconds leaving the skin silky soft. I actually haven’t shaved my legs in a long time as I prefer to depilate them but this might make me want to alternate for the soft skin effect that depilation won’t give me.
Switching back to Venus!

Love the weight of the stainless handle and the blades are way better than anything else on the market? The sticky holder is plastic and not stainless so that’s a little cheap and the sticky already came off

It’s been awhile since I have tried a new razor, so I was excited to receive this one. It comes with a nice stick-on caddy that I put on the inside of my bath cabinet, and it came with a total of 2 blades. The razor has a nice aesthetic look to it and a good weight. I am used to using the Bic twin razor blades, and I feel like I can “feel” the razor working a bit more with that razor. With the 5 blades, it was almost too smooth going over my legs that I didn’t feel like it was working well even though it was doing the job. I also had to ensure to set the razor upside down, as putting it directly down on the side of my tub resulted in its sticking to the tub due to the moisturizing strip around the razor. All in all, it is a nice razor but not one I feel I will reach for over my cheaper one.

Sometimes, these types of razors will slip or turn in my hand when I am using it, but be ause this one feels more sturdy, I can hold it better. I wasn't impressed with the blades themselves. I would purchase it as a backup or travel blade.

She was absolutely thrilled to try this and very happy that she didn’t get any nicks or cuts on her skin from it. We have had to buy electric razors far more frequently than we realized because they either stop working well or stop charging, so the fact that she is comfortable using this is amazing! I never thought my teenage daughter would be excited for a razor, but here we are & to be honest, I am beyond grateful for it! It is very easy to use and she loved that it’s also a pretty color and matches with her whole “aesthetic”.

It was a very smooth and easy to use. I love how to handle was very easy to hold on 10 out of 10 recommend.

The blades are easy to install and remove. The extra blades are in a separate sealed easy to open to small package. It keeps the extra blades clean and dry. It comes with a small circular piece that has an adhesive backing. It makes hanging your razor easily within reach freeing up space on the tub's edge. This venus razor has become my new favorite.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I think this product has some good value to it. It’s like Gillette is trying to compete with Billie’s and Harry’s versions of this razor. I like this sleek, modern look. It’s got some weight to it as well, some may not like that but I do. The box comes with 2 razor heads and also a sticky hook to hang it in the shower. So far, it seems to be sticking well even for how heavy it is. You can see how smooth my skin is after using it. I had no razor burn, no skipping, and no drops using this razor. It glided well with shaving cream and water even without major exfoliation beforehand. Great for a quick shower shave!
