This umbrella is a pretty lavender color and I have a couple of VB umbrellas, like the one in Aloha Blooms & Floating Blossoms. They are well made and strong and hold up nicely, and in such pretty patterns and colors!

The umbrella is beautiful and opens up just fine. HOWEVER, it is a real struggle for me to close it. I have to hold the handle against a hard surface and push really hard. It's almost not worth the effor to use it. The handle has little arrows that suggest the "up" one opens the umbrella, and it does. But yhe "down" arrow suggests maybe pushing it would close the umbrella and it does not. I am wondering if the umbrella is a poor design or if I just got a defective one.
