Too hard to open and close.

This umbrella is beautiful—I actually seem to have misplaced mine and am here to purchase another, even though I have a few other auto umbrellas. Regarding the reviewers who expressed frustration with how the umbrella closes—it closes (and opens) exactly the same way that my other automatic umbrellas do. I usually just put the top of the umbrella directly on/perpendicular to the floor and then push down on the handle until it clicks. But, hey, I'm also crazy and even use stick umbrellas sometimes!

Great size, haven't had to use it yet but fits perfectly in my car door pocket so always there when I need it

I give this umbrella 0 stars! It broke the very first day I used it! The elastic snapped when I opened it up. I'm very disappointed in a product with the Vera Bradley name on it!!!!

Very cute and works great, but is difficult to close.

Great size!

Like the compact size with easy open and close button, thats the reason I purchased it. Only thing is its hard to close once the umbrella has collapsed seemed rough when trying to get it in the smaller size. Made a little cheaper than my other Vera umbrella.

Cute print and size. Unfortunately mine is more like a weapon. Opens with a lot of pressure which will hurt you. Also will not latch open.

While this umbrella was very cute & compact when received, it was impossible to fully collapse the handle. It is also dangerous when trying to close it.
