Q: How do I open the umbrella?

A: Hold the umbrella by the handle. Then find the "runner" (the part that slides along the shaft). Push the runner upward until it "locks" at the top (you'll hear a click). If you don't like our manual umbrella, most of our umbrellas open automatically at the push of a button. Feel free to exchange it at Target for an automatic one. John from ShedRain

Flimsy umbrella
I gave it two stars because of the cute design but honestly it’s a cheap umbrella. Very flimsy. Worth maybe $5. It might work for a light drizzle, no wind or perhaps keeping sun on your face but I made the mistake of using this with heavy California rain and wind. First time I used it, it blew inside out. Second time, a few of the inside wires snapped. After two times, it’s completely broken.

Incorrect Size
The description said it folds to 7" and the specifications said 6.7". It's actually over 7", closer to 7.5", which is annoying because I got this to fit in a specific purse and it needed to be 7" or under.

Yes, you should buy it
I lost this umbrella and was devestated. How else am I supposed to stay dry in this tempermental weather after all?? I had to get another one. It fits in all of my purses easily and is easy to carry around without hassle. Super in love with it.
