Vera Bradley Women's Outlet Cotton Weekender Travel Bag Abuzz

I call this one my Mary Poppins Bag because of how well it can expand in size. This shoulder bag is great for commuting, work, and even college classes on campus. It’s pretty lightweight yet sturdy enough for almost any vacation or travel. It holds about 20 pounds and does not strain your shoulder whatsoever, so it balances the weight you’re carrying. Even my Windows 11 laptop fits perfectly inside (which is 10 inches long and 14 inches across). There’s a main zippered section where I can fit my laptop, and then there’s a second section where my spiral bound planner can slide in. There’s no designated pen pockets, but inside the main section there’s two open pouches where you can put things like a charging cord or a notepad. There’s also an extra zipper on the bottom of the second section. I’m assuming you would use that if you had a charging cord connected to something in the bag but wanted it zipped up. My favorite thing is the double sided drink holders. You can fit your phone on one side and have a water bottle in the other. It fits an average sized bottle (like a 30 oz Hydroflask). The only downside of this bag is that it’s floppy when you set it down. It doesn’t stand on its own, so you have to lean it against something if it’s not filled or weighted down enough. But otherwise, it’s perfect for someone like me who carries a lot of files and books around campus. The fabric is thick, so any items would be safe if there’s just a drizzle of rain outside. I chose the “Coffee Garden” color because I noticed how botanically accurate the illustrations were of various west coastal flowers native to California.

I love the beautiful shade of blue the turtles are swimming in! There are 3 outside zippers. Each one leads to extra large comparts. The storage is Amazing. It is just perfect! I would like this style for other items.

Going to return. Has a horribly strong chemical smell to it.

I love Vera Bradley and the above bag. However, I would purchase more, but the items have gotten too expensive.

Great size for overnight and short trips,.

The colors in this print are lovely & it's perfectly sized. It'll accompany me on my weekend DC trip.

The Coffee Garden print is lovely! This bag is a birthday gift for a friend who takes frequent short trips and overnights with her grandchildren. I feel sure she will love it, but her special day has not yet arrived.
