What It Is: This mask doubles as an at-home facial for brighter, smoother skin. AHAs, BHAs, and enzymes
improve uneven tone and texture
for visible results in just two minutes.
For: Dull, uneven tone
What It Solves: Brighten dullness and exfoliate instantly. Glycolic and lactic acids dissolve dull skin and help fade dark spots, while salicylic acid minimizes the appearance of pores and redness. Vitamin C-rich pineapple and papaya enzymes gently remove the outer layer of dead skin cells that trap bacteria, while softening skin.
How to use: Apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin. Let sit for 2-3 minutes before rinsing thoroughly with cool water. Do not leave on for more than 3 minutes, and avoid using other acid-based products and retinoids for 24 hours before and after each use. Use 1-2x a week on the entire face (avoiding eye area), ideally at night, after cleansing (and toning) but before moisturizing. See full results in four uses, and continue using the resurfacing mask weekly to maintain them.
Good to know: Skin may look slightly pink right after use. This is completely normal when using an acid mask. It should go away a few minutes after use.

Q: Should I apply a moisturizer or lotion or something afterwards?

A: Great question! You should definitely follow up Doctor's Visit with a moisturizer to seal in all the hard work. Since this mask is an exfoliating treatment, your skin may be more sensitive afterward, so definitely avoid using more products that contain actives or retinoids. Something simple yet hydrating you can use is our Skin Soak Moisture Cream which soothes and deeply moisturizes skin, or our Dew Point Gel-Cream if you need your skin to feel replenished without it feeling too heavy. I LOVE Versed products. But! This one was a miss for me immediately with the scent. Like is it old, dirty pineapple? I can’t really explain it but it’s not a fun scent at all. The texture of this is interesting-jelly like and a lot goes a long way. The results? Meh if even that. Used up, reluctantly, but won’t be a repurchase for me.

I was not sure about this product at first use, but as you can see from my photo......I quickly changed my mind. This was my first experience with a jelly type mask. The mask leaves your skin so much brighter and glowing after use. By the time I have almost emptied the jar my discolorations have lightened and are not as noticeable, my skin is smoother and brighter, and makeup just seems to blend better into skin.
I hope they never stop making this

I bought this mask just for fun because I love all of my other Versed products, and it is unexpectedly fixing my melasma?! My face looks brighter instantly after using and I can tell it’s evening out my tone overall. I *never* leave product reviews but had to spread the word about this one. (If I knew it was going to heal a skin condition I’ve had for 3 years, I would’ve taken a before picture!)

It didn't do much of anything besides make my skin crazy oily & breakout. I rarely get pimples & i have 6 right now & super oily skin that I've had to buy new products to try & correct. Expensive product that not only doesn't perform as promised but has made my skin have new problems that I didn't have previously. The only reason it gets 2 stars is because I happen to really like other products by Versed but this 1 ain't it.

I used to use a mask like this by REN that got discontinued. Since using this, I feel that my skin looks fresh, my blackheads gone and my texture diminished with regularly weekly use. This seems to be a fair priced mask for in between facial visits.

I bought this weekly mask, because of what it said it could do, and because of what reviews said it did do. After 3 weeks using it once a week as directed, I can say I am really impressed. I have of reddened scars in my cheek from a dermatology chemical peel I had 20 years ago. I have some discoloration from sun exposure and aging. After 3 weeks of use, my scars have faded in redness by half. I’m excited to se how much better we can get these with additional use. My skin tone is more even and my foundation sits much more nicely on my skin. I’m excited to continue to use Versed to see what can be accomplished !!
