Description

What It Is: This gentle exfoliating cleanser refines the appearance of pores while brightening, smoothing, and clarifying skin. Its creamy, nourishing formula replenishes moisture while it exfoliates so it won't strip your skin.

What It Solves: Gently buff away dead skin for a brighter, smoother, more even complexion. Formulated with superfine microcrystalline, a 100% plant-based, biodegradable alternative to microbeads, and an antioxidant-rich blend of black currant and raspberry leaf extract, which balances oily skin.

How to use: Using circular motions, gently massage a quarter-size amount into wet skin for 60 seconds, rinse thoroughly with cool water, and pat dry. Use on the entire face (avoiding eye area) AM or PM 1-2 times a week, after cleansing and/or removing makeup.

Good to know: For glowy results beyond your face, take this exfoliator into the shower and use it on your neck and chest as well. You'll be left with hydrated, healthy-looking skin.

    Please ignore the 1-star review that says, "this isn't microcrystalline exfoliate as it claims, microcrystalline means it's made of ground quartz, diamond, or other," as this is a FALSE stmnt, and they don't know what they're talking about. Microcrystalline is absolutely in this product—it is a plant-based, biodegradable, microcrystalline. There are many types of microcrystalline. Micro-abrasive exfoliants made from ground minerals like quartz and diamond, are typically found in professional-grade facials, high-end, dermatologist-led skincare products, and are designed for intensive physical exfoliation. This product is specifically made to be a more gentle exfoliant for all skin types, at a more affordable price-point.

    Excellent Exfoliant

    I needed something to exfoliate since I have a bit of texture (dead skin) left on my face from using tretinoin and this was exactly what my skin needed. It smells absolutely amazing, was super comfortable to use yet you can definitely feel it working. When I got out of the shower it felt like my skin had an extra glow to it. I will definitely be adding this to my skin care routine as a weekly scrub.

    I liked that the exfoliator really help lift the dead skin and improve my skin texture and get rid of some of my dark spots. The tube is very convenient and it helps. But the problem is that the small micro crystals in it are hard to get off of face and hands making it frustrating. I had to rinse and wash my hands three times to get the micro crystals off but even then I can still feel them on my face. I will finish this tube but I would not repurchase again and will stick to my original exfoliators.

    Junk.

    This is the worst. First off, this isn't microcrystalline exfoliate as it claims, microcrystal means it's made of ground quartz, diamond, or other . This is made of little " cellulose " particles. If you have used a microcrystalline exfoliator in the past you will know what I mean. The particles in this don't exfoliate, they are few, and the base leaves a thick waxy residue that doesn't wash off. Even my cliniqie oily skin wash didn't remove it. I had to get out the rubbing alcohol. After getting off that nonsense residue off, my face doesn't feel exfoliated whatsoever. I have better luck with a plain cellulose sponge.

    Very Gentle Exfoliant, but Not Enough for My Skin

    I’ve been using this exfoliant for a bit and had mixed results. The first thing I noticed was the scent — it smells strongly of lemongrass, which may be nice for some people, but it’s not my personal favorite, especially for a facial product. In terms of exfoliation, it’s definitely gentle. There is a lot of grit, but the particles are very small and fine, so it didn’t feel very effective for my skin. I prefer exfoliants that leave my face feeling noticeably smoother and cleaner afterward, and this one didn’t quite deliver that for me. After rinsing, my skin didn’t feel especially clean and almost felt like there was a slight film left behind. It wasn’t irritating, but it also wasn’t the fresh, polished feeling I usually look for after exfoliating. I’ll finish the bottle, but I don’t think I’ll repurchase. This may work better for someone with very sensitive skin who wants an extremely mild exfoliant, but it wasn’t strong enough for my preferences.

    Frustrated

    I had high hopes for this serum which I purchased from retail store. My face reacted with tiny bumps especially a lot on my forehead. I would like to know if there are real, board certified dermatologists testing these serums. I wonder who actually participated in the trials? Were they the ones who have perfect skin and nothing bothers them? I wasted money buying this.
