It smells nice, not too strong. Natural scent. The grit is nice and good for exfoliating which was what I wanted. But it did leave a weird film behind. Not sure which ingredient is responsible for that. Make sure not not to get this in your mouth

Oh lord she chonky
Honestly I was worried when I first used this product since the exfoliant was really coarse/chonky, however, the smell, the tingly feeling and the way it left my skin feeling was out of this world. I’d equate it to Bad Habit’s morning matcha scrub. Love it. Will buy again

Very meh. Cleans your face but the scrub particles seem too big to really be effective; also isn’t as effective as other charcoal products I’ve tried. Fine as a normal face wash but wouldn’t buy again in terms of a scrub or a charcoal product.

Was looking for a new exfoliator
I've been looking for an exfoliator since learning St. Ives is awful for your skin. I've been switching all my products to fragrance free or no added fragrance and choose this as my new exfoliator. Best exfoliating product EVER!
Normally one wouldn't exfoliate every day to prevent damaged skin, but this product is so gentle and effective that I literally use it every night before bed, or mornings if I plan on putting on make up. It leaves my skin feeling so clean and soft, like I have literally scrubbed a whole day's of work off my face. I use it after using the DERMA E hydrating gentle cleanser, just to get a deeper clean for my pores, then follow with DERMA E Vitamin C serum, and DERMA E hydrating night cream. This routine is perfect for my oily to combination and acne prone skin. It helps get rid of and prevent breakouts from happening, and my skin just feels amazing with these products. My face feels amazing throughout an entire day while my oily skin stays under control. I love love LOVE this brand so much, and it is a very good price for the quality!

soft clean skin
BC I have sensitive skin, a lot of charcoal masks irritate my skin. This is the first ever Derma E product I have ever tried and I love that its GMO free, cruelty free, gluten and soy free. I followed the directions on the box, the product dried about in about 5 mins or so. After it dries, you can wet your face and exfoliate your skin at the same time while washing it off. I can see the difference and feel the difference on my skin, skin feels soft and clean.
