The fragrance is not very perceptible. Texture is gel-like and slightly grainy? It is coarse when applied to the skin with It made the pores and roughness of the skin a little better. I think the price and the effect are worth it. The packaging is fresh and perfect for summer!

I’ve been using Clean & Clear Deep Action Exfoliating Scrub, and I love how fresh and smooth it makes my skin feel. The cooling sensation is super refreshing, and it gives my face a deep clean without being too rough. It’s become a go-to in my routine!

This scrub does not mess around. It goes on with a minty tingle that says “I’m here to evict every bad decision your skin made this week.” The exfoliating beads are satisfying (none of that “did anything even happen?” nonsense), and your face feels squeaky clean, like, literally squeaky. But fair warning, this stuff can be a little too enthusiastic. If your skin is sensitive or even mildly dramatic, it might feel stripped and start writing poetry about its lost moisture barrier. So, pair it with a good moisturizer unless you want your face feeling like dry toast. Deep clean? Absolutely. Just don’t forget to bring the hydration back or your skin will file a complaint.

Bring back the old formula. This new formula burns my skin and is the first face wash that has irritated my skin.

PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA! I have used the deep action exfoliating scrub for 10+ years with zero complaints. Since using this new formula my skin is breaking out, dry and sensitive. Please bring back the product that works.

Used a mini pea size amount, when I woke up my face was swollen and burning. It's 4 days now and still having swollen face in the morning, I have been taking benadryl daily and my skin is still red and flaking.

This is a great cleansing product for such a cheap price. It’s clearly nothing like high end products but it’s still worth the quality. I like to use this while I’m traveling.

Honestly I've been surprised with this exfoliating cleanser, it is more gentle than I thought, can be used daily, the little exfoliating beads didn't feel uncomfortable or irritating, but it takes a little effort to wash out all the beads, loved that my skin and my pores felt cleaner as i have blackheads, and it didn't dry me out, because I have combination skin,, my skin felt clean, soft and hydrated!

Great value for the money. After washing with this soap my skin feels clean and refreshed. I love how it helps exfoliate my skin. What a great product!

I use cleaning clear, deep action, exfoliating scrub when I want my face to feel like I’m getting a facial. The sink is smooth it smells so good This is a high value product.

I loved and relied on the Deep Action Cream Cleanser so I panicked when I saw that it was being discontinued and being "replaced" with this product (Deep Action Exfoliating Cleanser). It is NOT an even swap. Not even a little bit. The Deep Action Cream Cleanser was clearing for my pores/held acne at bay yet calming. It was a great 2nd cleanse for my traditional double-cleanse. When I couldn't find my trusted cleanser I tried this one (Deep Action Exfoliating Cleanser) but it left me with angry red patches of dry skin all over my face. It seems like it is formulated for someone who doesn't have other actives already in their regime. For now, I am trying to buy up all the ORIGINAL Deep Action Cream Cleansers I can find and am researching a more equivalent alternative. This was a major bummer. I would be willing to pay more for the old cleanser that I loved if I had to (and I have as I've tried stockpiling!).

Love these exfoliating scrub. they say that they are bad for you but i don’t have problematic skin and it really works for me. This bottle lasts me for a bit and the price isnt bad at all.

This New deep action Exfoliating Cleanser is TERRIBLE! I have used the old formula for decades no problems at all. I purchased the new bottle thinking the bottles changed not the formula or ingredients, but i was wrong. My face is on fire, it burns and is extremely painful. My face is broken out so badly with bumps rash i had to get treatment from a dermatologist i wear a face mask out in public to avoid the embarrassment of my face

This version breaks out my skin. I wish they never would have got rid of the older version. It was perfect or at least gave us the option to buy it.

Leaves my face feeling super fresh and smooth. It scrubs away all the dirt and oil without being too harsh. I use it a few times a week and it really helps keep my skin clear.

Need a good exfoliating cleanser? This is your product. My face feels absolutely amazing after using it, so fresh and clean. I love that the price is affordable too! I definitely appreciate that this exfoliating wash isn’t too harsh on my sensitive skin.

I used this product for years and after I bought my new bottle with the new formula, I have been getting a rash on my face. I stopped using it and the rash went away. I was also very concerned when I noticed the warning about being more sensitive to sun burn while using this product. Why are there chemicals that are so dangerous in this face wash?
