This New deep action Exfoliating Cleanser is TERRIBLE! I have used the old formula for decades no problems at all. I purchased the new bottle thinking the bottles changed not the formula or ingredients, but i was wrong. My face is on fire, it burns and is extremely painful. My face is broken out so badly with bumps rash i had to get treatment from a dermatologist i wear a face mask out in public to avoid the embarrassment of my face

I used this product for years and after I bought my new bottle with the new formula, I have been getting a rash on my face. I stopped using it and the rash went away. I was also very concerned when I noticed the warning about being more sensitive to sun burn while using this product. Why are there chemicals that are so dangerous in this face wash?

It should be illegal for brands to sell the same product name but completely change the formula, especially when it comes to face wash or skin care! The fragrance doesn’t bother me but it’s like gooey and barely any exfoliation compared to the old formula. My skin breaks out more than it did with the previous original formula as well. Not a fan overall, only got 2 stars because it still cuts back how oily my combination skin can get but that’s it’s only saving grace. Looking for a replacement brand now. So disappointing.

For the longest I had been looking for a replacement since I had run out of my most recent bottle. I searched high and low looking for the Clean and Clear Exfoliating Scrub that I knew of and loved, to find out that there was new packaging. Once I figured that out, I figured I'd give the new packaging a try, so I thought. First red flag, no exfoliating beads. This was the best part of using the product. Having the tingling sensation on my skin, really made my skin feel cleaned and relaxed. So to find out this wasn't in the new formula, I was highly disappointed. Now I'm forced to use the product, although I don't enjoy it, I can't waste my money. Clean & Clear! I'd your listening, bring back the older formula.

So first of all, I hate that they put so much fragrance in this bottle and I hate that they change the packaging and I hate hate strongly with that. They change the ingredients and the formal every time I use it burn and hurt my skin and end up with some type of allergic reaction. I loved the formula from the 2000s. I love the ingredients from the 2000s. I loved how the old bottle looked. I loved how the feeling of the old bottle was on your skin but this new stuff horrible don’t buy only you want ur skin to be on fire and you want to go to a dermatologist and spend a lot of money to fix your skin again and yes that happen to me the last time I try it
Please go back to the old formula!

Why did Clean & Clear change the formula for this? I tried the new bottle three separate times to make sure it wasn't just a bad batch, and my skin has reacted TERRIBLY every time. The old formula made my skin feel clean. This new product leaves a filmy residue and has made my skin all blotchy and red. I have made no other changes to my skincare or lifestyle so this product HAS to be what is causing that. Please please please bring back the original formula, I know so many other people who are unhappy with this product as well.

I had been trying to find a formula for so long to help with my acne. I used the old formula for about +16 years & when I tell you my skin flourished. The compliments I received on my skin. The old formula made me glow & to have it taken really hurts. This new formula only used twice & my face was so dry & just NO. I've been on the hunt again looking for a formula & still can't find anything like it. If this review reaches the right person, PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA !! I know sales have got to be down because this new formula isn't it. Thanks for reading my review & have a great year, hopefully making changing so my skin can be happy again.
