I use this growing up back in high school and it was always a really nice exfoliator. It had a nice gentle sent to it and the beads definitely were not too rough. The bottle also lasted for a long time as a little went a long way.

The fragrance is not very perceptible. Texture is gel-like and slightly grainy? It is coarse when applied to the skin with It made the pores and roughness of the skin a little better. I think the price and the effect are worth it. The packaging is fresh and perfect for summer!

This scrub does not mess around. It goes on with a minty tingle that says “I’m here to evict every bad decision your skin made this week.” The exfoliating beads are satisfying (none of that “did anything even happen?” nonsense), and your face feels squeaky clean, like, literally squeaky. But fair warning, this stuff can be a little too enthusiastic. If your skin is sensitive or even mildly dramatic, it might feel stripped and start writing poetry about its lost moisture barrier. So, pair it with a good moisturizer unless you want your face feeling like dry toast. Deep clean? Absolutely. Just don’t forget to bring the hydration back or your skin will file a complaint.

PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA! I have used the deep action exfoliating scrub for 10+ years with zero complaints. Since using this new formula my skin is breaking out, dry and sensitive. Please bring back the product that works.

Dangerous to your skin
Used a mini pea size amount, when I woke up my face was swollen and burning. It's 4 days now and still having swollen face in the morning, I have been taking benadryl daily and my skin is still red and flaking.

Good cleanser
Honestly I've been surprised with this exfoliating cleanser, it is more gentle than I thought, can be used daily, the little exfoliating beads didn't feel uncomfortable or irritating, but it takes a little effort to wash out all the beads, loved that my skin and my pores felt cleaner as i have blackheads, and it didn't dry me out, because I have combination skin,, my skin felt clean, soft and hydrated!
