I had tried 3 or 4 different bases for my half umbrella (Pure Garden brand), but found the pole just didn’t fit well in the base. The umbrella, even with the screw tightened to hold it in place, would end up leaning a bit to one side. I wanted the half-base so it would fit more neatly under the end of my outdoor rectangle table. Don’t have a full wall to lean it up against, just a high concrete kind of extension above our patio doors that the back of the umbrella is pushed up against. This base absolutely did the trick. It is very good quality. The deep-grey base with the white pole-holder section looks very stylish, and what I love most of all are the double screws, which the others I tried didn’t have. The pole of the umbrella fits in the base opening really well, and with the TWO screws to hold it in place, it just doesn’t budge. And it’s been open during a few very windy days. I took one star off value only because it really is quite a but more expensive than other bases I tried, but because of the result, and really just the overall appearance, I think it’s worth it (I would still keep an eye out for it to possibly go on sale😊.) Good product.
