Great Dairy Free Alternative Cheese 🧀
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Violife Foods is an AMAZING Dairy Free / Plant Based brand. The Mexican Style Shreds melted beautifully and tasted delicious. I could not wait for dinner to use on tacos so I made an egg, bacon, and “chz” sandwich for breakfast. It paired nicely with the other ingredients. The shreds heated well, there was no aftertaste or acidity. The shreds were very durable and complimented my sand-which perfectly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I made my Thanksgiving mac & cheese with this and I must say I am going to be coming back. This is a cheese alternative, but it absolutely taste like cheese, free from dairy soy, gluten lactose nuts and artificial preservatives. Oh and this melts perfectly. I never in 1 million years would’ve thought that we could have cheese without all the additives and this is 100% dairy free. I absolutely love it will be buying again!

Vegan cheese is ok

It had a good taste and it melted ok, not great. I would say that this is a great product for someone who cannot have real cheese.

Good Substitute when you're watching your fats
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Surprise I do like this plant based cheese. It's lower fat and does taste good on my salad. I didn't detect a smell so it wasn't bad. It doesn't clump together like cheese and there is no aftertaste. It doesn't stretch, it does crumb which doesn't matter to me. I only use a little on my salads so this bag will go a long way.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the Mexican style shreds in my lentil soup. The look, texture, and meltability are all similar to dairy shredded packaged cheese. I would say eating it right out of the bag, the taste is not the same as regular dairy blended cheese. This is the first time I’ve tried non-dairy cheese, and I was pleasantly surprised that mixed into something I did not notice the difference. For those that cannot eat dairy, this does seem like an excellent substitute.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first, I wasn’t impressed with the Violife Mexican Style Shreds. Straight out of the bag, the texture and flavor just didn’t hit the mark for me, and I honestly thought it was going to be a miss. But once I melted it over my eggs, it actually transformed a lot. The taste mellowed out, the texture became smoother, and it worked way better as a warm, melty topping than a cold cheese alternative. Final thought not great on its own, but definitely better once melted.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sampled The Violife Mexican Blend cheese not knowing what to expect and was pleasantly surprised from the moment I opened the package to tasting as part of my quesadilla. For being non-dairy, the arrogance, texture and look was very similar to top quality dairy-based mexican cheese blends. The taste was equally on par with top dairy based brands and the consistency when cooked was very good with no after taste. I went in skeptical not knowing if I would enjoy, but have finished the packaged I sampled and purchased another. Only wish the cheese included some protein.

I love cheese and using this I didn’t feel like it was vegetarian cheese. I did not like the feel of the unmelted cheese. But it was good when melted. The package was also super easy to open and re seal.
