Book Synopsis
Three months after exposing Shinoda and saving the RIMers from mass genocide, Nimah and the Valkyrie crew are tasked by the council of pirates with an impossible new mission: rescue five hundred children stolen from a ransacked commune before they're shipped to a top-secret military lab and lost forever. Haunted by ghosts that won't stay dead, Nimah's mental health is rapidly declining as they race against the clock. Meanwhile, the crew is faced with thrill-seeking bounty hunter--and Shinoda's estranged niece--Vesper Crole, who's been hired by SIGA to take Nimah out once and for all.
"A must-read for fans of spacefaring escapades . . . As emotionally resonant as it is thrilling." ―Kirkus Reviews on Flight of the Sparrow
