Vornado Vfan Alchemy Vortex Fan: Portable Tabletop Fan for Rooms, Quiet Operation, Adjustable Tilt, 5 Speeds, Black

After deciding on the “medium” size, I made a spreadsheet with all the medium size Vornado air circulator fan’s specs. This VFAN Alchemy stood out as being simple, quiet, efficient and oh, so cool looking. I’m very happy with my purchase.

I purchased the VFAN Alchemy a few weeks ago. I Love this fan! It is small, attractive and blends in well with the surroundings without taking up a lot space. It has a light background hum that I honestly don't even notice. It is not noisy like most fans. It has 5 settings which is great if you just a want a little air movement. It moves all the air in the room without feeling like you have air blowing on you constantly. It is a perfect fan for any room.

This is the third fan from Vornado that we have purchased, that should tell you how we feel about them. We have them in several rooms to keep the circulation going and it does seem to help with both heating and cooling efficiency. I was watching a MacGyver re-run and noticed he dismantled one in an episode to escape a locked room, many uses!

This fan is high quality, quiet and easy to adjust. Highly recommend.

This is a beautiful yet highly functional fan. We needed something for the bedroom & I love that this is so minimalistic. No intrusive blue lights like most appliances today, no noise from an oscillator- just an air circulator that works as designed, is very quiet, & looks fantastic. It’s well built & does a great job in our 12x14’ room.

We’ve been using this fan, every night, for two months, now. So far, so good. It looks great, of course, and we haven’t noticed any unusual noises coming from it.

I bought the alchemy after having had another virando vintage style fan. I love both. The lowest setting is quiet enough that you can’t really hear it. Really moves the air. Handsome look.

I bought this fan 2 months ago for my bedroom, since I don't have AC and can't sleep without some white noise. This fan looks great in my bedroom and worked great for the first 2 months. However as of a couple days ago it makes an erratic rattling noise when it's on. This wakes me up and negates the whole purpose of the fan, which is to help me sleep comfortably.

I have a Silver Swan and a black circulator. This fan looks good but it is noisy. Something with the blades. I am returning.

I've been around Vornado fans all of my life and have always admired their quality and marveled at how much air one can move with very little noise. In the last 20 years I've purchased some of newer models which move just as much air, but the vintage style fans are still my favorite. Recently I acquired a VFAN Alchemy and I am so glad I did! It is beautifully constructed of metal, much like the originals. It cranks out a ton of air from a very compact package and looks so good, you don't want to put it away or hide it! VORNADO MAKES THE BEST FANS, PERIOD!

I bought this fan for my daughter's room. I wanted something that she could keep permanently on her dresser that was nice to look at. I am so happy with this purchase! It looks great, works well, isn't too loud. It's perfect!

I am in California and bought this fan after the 2020 fires began in mid-August. Over the last month, there have only been a few days when the otside air was safe enough to open the windows. The Alchemy fan has exceeded our expectations! All of the moving parts are fluid and well-assembled. The metals feel solid and expertly cut out, and the powder coating is meticulous. Though it's not a super-powerful fan, it does have a range of settings - it is best suited for circulating air. Overall, it is very quiet and doesn't noisily bother anyone watching TV or playing video games. Since we knew whatever fan we bought would need to be a permanent fixture in our living room, we wanted to spend a little extra for something that looked nice and would LAST for years to come. This fan is a welcome addition to our home. Our family is also thrilled to buy American, and support Kansas jobs!

I bought this about a month ago, and as with all of their products, this fan packs quite the punch. It’s able to keep me cool all night (this fan has made it so I don’t sweat as much with sleeping and the temperature control helps me stay asleep!) and I live in an older home in Southern California with no air conditioning! On top of all of that, the vintage aesthetic looks fantastic in person.
