Q&A (1)

Q: What is the width of the trimmer guard. Will if fit model 9888L trimmer

W - 3 months ago

A: Hi _W, thank you for reaching out to Teds Electronics. The Wahl Color-Coded Clipper Guide #3137-101 (1/16") is designed to fit full-size Wahl clipper blades, not the 9888L trimmer. The 9888L is a T-blade trimmer and uses its own dedicated trimmer guards, so this guide unfortunately won't fit it properly. If you'd like, we can help you find the correct guard for your 9888L. Feel free to call us at 212-254-3162 with any questions. Thank you, Teds Electronics

A: To add some information to Teds Electronics "spot on" answer, Wahl's Premium Trimmer T-Blade 12pc Guide Comb Set is # 58023-800. The set comes with 12 individual guide combs ranging in length between 1/16" and 1". These guide combs fit trimmer t-blade sizes 1 5/8" x 1 1/8". The metal attachment clip provides a Secure-Fit™ to the blade, so you never have to worry about it falling off. The guide comb sizes are printed large & clear on the metal name plate for easy comb size identification. If Wahl can do anything else, contact us at help@wahlclipper.com.
