Purchased this for my husband for his Bday and he loves them. This is an upgraded version of the previous Wahl clippers he had. Close shave and different options for the beard and mustache.

Received the product in good time. Nice packaging, and it seemed brand new. Although I have purchased the Wahl brand before, and was very happy with the choice, this purchase was not quite as well received. I wanted a close cutting trimmer, and thus version just does not cut close enough. The haircutting blade cuts closer than the trimmer, but both do not close cut well. A fine product, but not what I expected. I would return these, except being a health and beauty product, I can't. I'll just have to wait and find another, closer cutting pair.

I love this. Seems really sturdy. Mainly have only used it to trim my beard and mustache. My wife has used it to trim around my ears and the back of my neck after using a larger set of clippers to cut my hair. Has lots of great attachments. Would recommend to my family and friends. I got this trimmer to replace an older bulkier model so far I’m quite happy with it’s performance. It has guards that clip on and it runs by being plugged into the 110 outlet continuously. It provides a close smooth shave and its not to noisy I really like this trimmer! My only wish was that it came in s hard case and had more attstchments. I bought this a few weeks ago and finally feel I have found the trimmer that works for me!! This trimmer has all the extra tools and very easy to use. The carrying case keeps everything together so you don’t loose any of the pieces. The trimmer worked exactly how it’s supposed to with no problem. I didn’t have to trim again for at least 3 days. This set up includes 12 different guards along with a comb, a brush and oil! I have always had to purchase oil separately but not with this set!!! The shave is close and exactly what I needed! I got it a couple of weeks ago and absolutely love it. It includes everything I need. I use to have a cordless trimmer and it worked great but for some reason it always died in the middle of trimming my beard. Having a cord is great because there is no need to remember to charge. I really like this Wahl Clipper set! I love that it comes with hair cutting guides, beard trimmers, and ear and nose trimmer settings. When I first used it, the trimmer is a little noisy but not very bad. Once I started cutting my hair it cut very clean and I really did not have to go over the same spot multiple times as I do with others. This trimmer is compact and easy to travel with. However, it's geared more toward trimming a beard rather than clipping hair on your head. Despite the fact that the package includes guards for clipping hair on your head and pictures indicating that this device is capable of such a feat, it falls short of meeting expectations in that regard. While attempting to buzz my head with the included #2 guard, little to nothing was accomplished. From that standpoint, I was unimpressed. However, the device is small enough to where I could accurately clean up the hair around my ears with ease. This device likely will not replace your standard hair clippers if you have them, but will likely make a great addition to your beard trimming collection. I've had a very nice and expensive set of clippers for the last 10 years that I use to cut my own hair, but using it for my beard or touching up around my ears was always a little more difficult because they are so bulky. I decided to buy this Wahl Trimmer specifically to use for my beard and touch up around my ears and back of my neck. I love these Wahl Trimmers! They work perfectly and I never have issues with them pulling my hair. I even use these to shave my head now instead of my original clippers. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Here are the pros for this razor: 1) It cuts well! 2) It has a ton of different attachments for different lengths and cut type. 3) It comes with a nice pouch to hold everything. The cons: 1) It just feels too light and makes it hard to use. 2) The straight edge cut (with no attachments on) isn't as clean as I would expect it to be. This trimmer set comes fully loaded with guards in so many sizes. It lets me trim my beard to just the right length. The trimmer also has nice consistent power, which is not always the case with these types of trimmers. Also important to note is that the cord is long if your outlet isn't close by. In a nutshell, it works as intended. I just used this for the first time, it came with a lot of accessories and 3 detachable blade systems (trimmer, detailer and clipper). I love that it came with a soft case with 2 compartments... I don't have to keep the product box. On the other side, it's a bit nosier that I expected but not a deal breaker. The accessories are a bit hard to remove and I'm not sure if the clipper will be able to easily do my entire head if I let my hair grow too much... but I'm sure it will work fine for touch ups. Bottom line, I'd recommend it for it's versatility to do small jobs but I think I'll keep my full size clipper for big jobs on my head. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
