The Walrus Audio Julianna is an all-analog, stereo chorus/vibrato pedal that builds upon the lush, tonal landscapes of the original Julia. With expanded features like tap tempo, stereo in/out, a secondary LFO, modulation drift, and more, the Julianna delivers a wide range of classic and modern chorus and vibrato effects, from subtle shimmer to seasick warble and everything in between. Expanded Control and Versatility The Julianna offers a wealth of features that expand upon the classic chorus/vibrato paradigm. Tap tempo control allows to easily sync modulation effects with the rhythm of music, while the stereo input and output jacks provide flexibility for creating immersive soundscapes. The momentary secondary LFO speed function lets ramp up or slow down to a second LFO rate, adding dynamic movement to sound. The drift function gently modulates the LFO rate, creating an organic and evolving effect. Unique LFO Shapes and Expression Control In addition to the classic sine and triangle LFO wave shapes, the Julianna introduces a random wave shape option for unpredictable and exciting modulation. The tap division control allows to select quarter note, quarter note triplet, or eighth note multipliers to scale a tapped-in tempo. Expression pedal control lets dynamically manipulate the depth, rate, or both parameters of the effect, adding another layer of expressiveness to playing. Lag Control and Dry-Chorus-Vibrato Blend The Julianna features a unique Lag control that sets the center delay time modulated by the LFO. This allows to create a wide range of chorus and vibrato textures, from smooth and subtle to warbly and detuned. The D-C-V knob blends between dry, chorus, and vibrato signals, offering a spectrum of classic and unique sounds.
